Between Ozzie and Kenny, it was time for one of the two to go and it wound up being Ozzie. Ozzie and Kenny had a bad marriage for the last two years during Ozzie's time as Sox manager. That was a distraction to the team regardless of what they will tell the media.

The fact that it is at the Cell makes a huge difference. If this was another series in Detroit it would be completely different, but to be honest you guys ought to hope that you can guys put some space between the Sox and Tigers in that last series because the Royals-Twins repeat to end the year for the Tigers should result in a decent (Dewey this is the correct spelling of decent ) record for Detroit.
