Yeah, from what I see in Google, this was posted 19 hours ago. There is not one other reference from any other media that reported this. Not saying Walter can't scoop something but in 2017, once a legitimate story gets out, it usually takes minutes before its validated by the press and sent through twitter. There is nothing validated from other sources. No one tweeting except a few people sourcing walters rumor mill report.

Again, its certainly possible they know someone close to Hooker and he's planning to do surgery in a few days and hasn't formerly released. If so, then good for Walter. But for now, might need to hold off on assuming this is true until we see it come from some other sports media.

Might make a trade down to 12 or so more viable for me. Right now, I suspect we trade up before we trade down. Trubisky is going top 2 and the Jets have a hard on for him. If we don't, that's awesome for Pace but if we do, I suspect we'll need to move up for him after Trubisky lights up the combine. He's going to surprise folks with his #s there.

Don't worry, the Bears will have a shot at Trubisky without having to trade down. All this media hype about all these teams that are in love with Trubisky is bullshit. No team will leak real info about who they REALLY plan to go after. When all is said and done, Garrett/Kizer will go one and two.

Yes. What is the risk of taking him with a high 1st round pick? He is the best safety prospect in years. He's only out 4-6 months for a hernia surgery, not 1-2 years like Jaylon was last year. In 9 months this is an after thought. There is no "taking a chance" by drafting him because of a surgery that keeps him out till August.

This. The difference between Hooker and Adams is marginal. Some even have Adams ahead of Hooker anyway. At any rate, Adams is still better than any safety in last years class.

I agree. He tends to take them to the house when he gets in the open field. People also say that Adams is a harder hitter but I can't really verify that.

The difference for us would be that most see Adams as a SS and Hooker as a FS and we need FS more than we need a SS but some think Adams can play either S spot.

Exactly what i read aswell and there is the factor of Bullard who might still be able to grow into a starter

and then you can think about this do you want to upgrade a decent rotation of a solid group of DL or get a possible great talent at a position you are lacking for nearly a decade
