My brother was a K9 cop before making Homicide Detective. His dog was truly amazing..Nothing frightened him..He would crawl thru drainage pipe while gunshots were going off like it was nothing. German Shepherds make the best cop dogs IMO

My son in law is a K9 cop. Smart dog but fucking crazy. All he wants to do is work. He knows what time his shift starts and gets ready.

They are so incredibly smart and LOVE to work as you say, they are such an impressive breed.

I also have a story about sheep dogs, when I was younger I spent summer nights throwing hay bails in the fields for my neighbour who had a farm. One of his clients was a sheep farmer, he had about 150 sheep or so and they would spread out in the field during the day. They'd break out in little hurds all over, but every night without anyone saying a word an hour or so before sundown, the 3 dogs would appear out of the barn and off they were in the fields. Within a half hour so there they were guiding the entire heard back in the barn for the night. It was an amazing piece of work to watch, the team work and communication between them was outstanding.

I'll hook you up to a sled and have you pull me through the woods to look for crabs. Be like a Bigfoot 4x4.

lol sounds good. My Husky was out slaying rabbits the other day in the back yard. Dude was tossing them in the air like a rope. He tried slaying a deer in the mountains when we were on vacation, but i would not let him off the leash.

DiZzamn bro, you need to release that stuff every once in awhile.

It's just like skeeting, if you don't squirt for a long time your dick will be like an old caulk gun and you'll have to stick a nail down the head to clear the tube which isn't very pleasant.
?
Do you mind if I show this to my wife?

LOL nah, Tresticles doesn't deserve the sig treatment, it's not his fault he was doomed to fail in Chicago saddled with Cutler the coach killer and an aging defense about to implode. Lovie on the other hand, he dug his own grave. However, a new sig is definitely in order... still trying to decide what the next one will be.

HOW BOUT A TRIPLE H ANIMATED GIF SIG, broc????????

I'll make it for you so you can fit in.

Was raised on a horse farm. When the horses didn't want to come in we would send the 2 Aussies after them. Have all of them in the barn in a few minutes.

I read this post last night and totally forgot to reply to it.

Use baby gates in your house to separate your puppy from you while your at home for an hour or two every night. Have them in the next room over so that he(?) can hear you and all that but can't get to you. It'll get him used to being away from you and it will help his anxiety in a gradual way.

Baby gates where really effective for me as I didn't want to crate Rex.

Thanks cago... I have always enjoyed your insightful posts (seriously).

However... this is now a 6 month old, 65 pound, German Shepherd Dog.

Baby gates are nothing but something to run over and play with any more.

He can already jump over the baby gates I have installed... he doesn't any more because he gets a whack... but when he's anxious, he doesn't know how to behave.

Our GS pup took everything of the walls one night. Came home on a nice summer day and went to my bedroom to find the screen tore out and the curtains gone. ****** was wrapped in them having a ball.

Same. I want to be so mad... but it's actually fucking hilarious.

Then we pay to get it fixed.
