The Thunder sent Reggie Jackson down to the D-League and he came back quite a bit better. Now he's a big contributor on a title contender. Not saying that will happen with Teague but there's always a chance.

Is this the shortest D-League stint ever?

So if Mike James misses Thursdays game against Miami, Hinrich is in for a 48'er right?

45, Teague will get 3 minutes. 35 if it's blowout.

Thanks for editing the title, mods.

I tried to do it via the editing of the OP, but was unable to change the title. I'm still getting accustomed to how this forum is set up.

Yeah the forum software doesn't allow for OP to edit the title on the actual forum (I think you can edit the title within this thread though). Only mods can. I don't know why but that's how it is.

Maybe Teague will help us be worse than we already are, not like he's done anything good this season

I checked the standings to, we're down to 7th and the Bobcats are closing in on our 7th spot. Hopefully we keep it up.

A couple scenarios with him being sent down:

-It's possible that he may have to be included in a trade, so maybe they are showcasing him in the D-League.

-It's possible that they sent him down & wanted him to have minutes because they're showcasing Kirk and/or Mike James for a potential trade package.

-It's possible that they sent him down for a few games to get a message across to him, considering he may be their starting PG for the rest of the season in the event that Kirk is traded.

-It's possible that nothing at all happens & GarPax are foolish enough to keep this team together for a 1st round playoff exit, thus losing out on a chance to land a franchise player in this upcoming draft.

I believe on Occam's Razor theory, which basically states that the right answer is usually the simple answer. With Rose's injury, it became a need to see development from Teague. He is only 20 and could still be 2 years away from substantial playing time.

Sending him down to the D league does just that. It gives him full time on the court so he can get stronger and develop. As much as the Bulls want to believe that Rose will come back strong, they have to starting seeing who can replace him if needed.

This is the simple reason he was sent down, to get more playing time so the Bulls will know what they have if they have to look for a replacement for Rose in the future. He was brought back because James got hurt, that's it.
