I don't slack, but I hear SilenceS loves doing lines of coke off of fat chicks.

See, this is where the grapevine gets messed up. I do lines of coke off of strippers bajinco's aka someones wife and I bang the fatties on Tuesdays. Geesh, this is how rumors are started.

I've almost been engaged twice and both times I ended it before taking the next step. In both cases, the girls were great but there are times I want to come home and just not have to interact with or feel obligated to talk to anyone and that did not sit well with either girl and I knew that eventually it would become a larger problem.

So I rarely get into anything serious with local girls and my serious girlfriends the last few years have always been long distance. It just provides a natural reason for my GF not to be constantly around. Of course, that only last so long before they get that itch so right now I have moved to a hoes in different area codes approach which is working out great for me.

So I think the question of marriage is just one where you have to do what's right for you. There is a part of me that wishes I could find someone that understood and could deal with my loner tendencies but ultimately you have to play the cards you are dealt.

I feel the same as you. I really don't want to have to come from work only to have my wife nag me about mowing the lawn, changing a lightbulb, or whatever other B.S. problems her ass is too lazy to deal with.

Those are some mighty high standards you've set for your imaginary wife.

Pretty certain he's one of those miserable people with tons of cash that's maybe happier than most traditional folks. I'm the opposite. Still miserable though, whenever I'm not super pumped!

It's not even about nagging. I have come home before where my girl had dinner on the table and pretty much was willing to accommodate me in any way. But all I really wanted to do was not speak to anyone and just chill by myself the whole night. No matter how understanding a girl is about that outwardly, you just know that deep down, they take that shit personally and for someone like me that's how I feel like 3 or 4 days out of the week.

I'm just the kind of person that can go weeks or months not speaking to or seeing someone and then when I do see them just picking up where we left off. I don't have the focus or attention span to just devote or commit myself to interacting with someone every single day. Shit that's why I moved away from my family so I would have an excuse as to why they don't hear from me for weeks at a time.

Agree with you here too. I would actually say I don't feel like talking to anyone more often than not. Just wanna come home, eat some dinner, maybe go hit the gym, **** some pussy (without speaking), etc.

Ok, so it will be flamed by the usual bunch but I figure I'd ask.

How is marriage life, for those that are involved that deeply? Are you happy? Did you set out in life to find someone you connect with? Or did you settle for a Frank Wheeler in Revolutionary Road and hope for the best? Did it work out for you?

I'm getting older and I like the idea of marriage; but after seeing at 17-18 years old, so many housewives screwing around with personal trainers and such while husbands worked to provide.. And THEN come in at nights with their family to get another workout in, I've been very sorry about the idea of marriage.

Or seeing a married woman at a var(last night) be so full blown flirtatious with some guy that I may know, who was not her husband. I have become somewhat.. Not cool w the idea of it(not just one instance). And I know a bud who's a male stripper who's banged bachelorettes(serious) and it's made me have zero remote interest in idea of marriage. Or a guy I know through a friend who was banging a woman and making sex tapes while her husband was battling cancer(**** you If you think I'm full of shit), shit has messed my mind.

Nothing's happened to me directly, but I figure id ask because I say 70% on here are older than me; and we don't know eachother. Did it work out for the best? Is there trust? Etc

As most know I just got married in March and believe me I never thought I would get married. I've been with my wife for nine years before we decided to tie the knot and it wasn't always easy. We went through two years of a rough patch because of financial issues and the only way we got through it all was the main thing most couples tend to lose focus on and that is we communicated no matter what. No matter how hurt we were, no matter how painful the topic at hand was, no matter how much we probably wanted to strangle each other we still managed to sit each other down and talk about our issues. It's worked out so far and I couldn't be happier

Maybe I should start coming into the bar more often

well said bro. you know what's funny is the first year my wife and I were together before we got married, she was looking for work and I supported us (I still don't know how I managed to pull it off). Then later on there were a couple years where she made more than I did lol. We never fight over money but we still keep separate accounts so maybe that helps. But sometimes when we go out and she pays the bill I get shit from the server for letting the woman pay. I tell them I'll forward them my mortgage statement

Fighting over money is the first step at pushing her away to personal trainers.
