Marriage is the best thing that happened to me. I was wild in H.S. and College. Met my wife there. Still had fun on the side b/c it's college and there was literally pussy dripping from the ceilings (No, nick80 didn't hang himself in the apartment above me). Been together a total of 13 years and we still sit back and reminisce about how lucky, crazy and blessed we are.

Find your best friend and marry her. Everything else will work out if you are committed to her.

2. Congrats man on your marriage. Your story sounds almost identical to how my married life happened.
3. Your last point is very difficult for most men because they don't think being best friends with a woman is possible. Probably because they are *** or misogynists, or *** misogynists. But I agree 100% on that last point.

Cheers, man. I think you really have to experience the world, its people, its different locales to really know what makes you happy. Be it travel, college, tons of different jobs, sex with a lot of women, whatever. I have friends who stayed in the same spot, hung with the same people and they will NEVER be happy. Get out of your comfort zone and get your teethed kicked in every now and then, it's good for you. And it will make you a better partner, husband, and father.
