#calledit
I know, that's basically my move set, calling the girl I like a name. Apparently I never grew out of kindergarten

That's what I feel so many do, to be honest. The happiest guy I know got married at 37. He says some of his friends who rushed in their mid 20s are now divorced and moving back to the city. While he took his time, enjoyed the freedom, found a woman who he loved and now he's doing great.
Do you guys excommunicate for divorce?
I thought 37 was too old for you? Is he just someone you know or is he a bro?
No they do not, seen plenty of couples get divorced and remarried in the church.
I thought that was an old out of date practice though
My best friends brother in law.
Who is "we"?we almost excommunicated someone for living with his GF for 5 years and refusing to marry her until his family accepted her for being a flaky vegan wiccan.

Definitely a lot of pressure from society/family. It's like if you're not married by age x there's something wrong with you. To a certain degree for ladies I can kinda get it because there's a certain point where they can't have kids anymore so if their goal is to have kids then yeah you might start to worry after a certain point, but otherwise...it's kind of dumb.Societal/Family pressure.... I mean there is an ideal time for marriage and having kids.... but people get way too hung up on it.

My church, ******. I just heard about it the other day thought it was kinda funny. It was voted down though...
I am in agreement. Adoption and even being a foster parent are definitely super cool ways to be a parent. In some ways I give those that do that even more credit for taking in a child that's not biologically theirs and treating them like their own. Shows a lot of character.Nothing wrong with those that adopted. Adoption is not a Plan B
Not saying you think that, just clarifying
What kinda fucking church votes for people to be allowed to stay in/out?
What in the **** is this?
you can't be this Special person.[/QUOT
Yeah, you moron. I'm this retarted because I didn't know much of churchs that are that backwoods to not allow some guy to stay in because h e was dating some chick for 5 fucking years in , you and your backwoods ass church. I know *** marriage and such but some dude dating?

lol proving my point exactly. The most important thing is that both people have to have the same perception/definition of what marriage and meet the expectations. For example, one couple I know spends very little time together, and both do their own thing. However, the short time they do spend together, they have a LOT of fun. This is the only very happy marriage I know of right now, and they have been married 30 year.
Most marriages I know of, one partner is far more demanding than the other, and it's one sided as far as give/take. Any normal human being can only take a one sided relationship for so long.
I never understood why certain people have to be married to be happy. I am one of those that is VERY HAPPY being single. I've been through marriage, have some great kids and am very happy being single. I enjoy dating women and spending time with, I have a few very close female friends.
Also, most married women are fucking fantastic in bed !!! It's like they CRAVE having sex, and it is much easier to get them in bed.
