Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but that's the risk you gotta take. This is how I see it, what the Cubs are getting offered for Garza now, will be the same or better in the off0seaso. So, why not wait... They're smart so I have complete faith in them.

He can get dealt, but teams are offering less than before and the Cubs will just wait to see how the offers pick up in the off-season. They can't be worse and only go up. His injury is not too bad, so teams shouldn't be too afraid.

Yeah, but I don't think so ir it will be just like right now. Depending on trade, there's still a lot of time to figure out an extension and there still get a lot out of him.

I think Texas and Toronto are rated higher, but they are all really deep good systems.

if garza goes along with demp,and soriano the tear down process will be almost complete. not sure where the cubs will get more specs from with the roster the way it is, maybe a FA that they sign and than move at next years deadline rinse and repeat.
