I have to grudgingly credit the crew for this and special nod to Warren for upgrading the treatment of prospective coaches coming to interview.

Good job to them for getting the coveted candidate of this cycle.

Yes, it was a glorious day and will turn out to be one of the best decisions in franchise history.

Thanks for the reminder.

I remember when you used to post as Mongo76 and were one of the most repugnant members of the forum.

Nothing has changed.

The best offensive coordinator in football is coming here because of him. I guess he knows less than you do.
So you aren’t the only one that picked up on the ole mongo76 poster???

It’s all sunshine and rainbows until the games start being played. Offseason champs again.
I haven’t seen anyone declare they are offseason champs. Not in the media either. It’s still a clown organization until proven otherwise.

Eat crow? Get out of his way, let him get a good staff of coaches who can coach/not who know trace Armstrong, have a good draft, get into the playoffs and start winning games and then you can begin to ask naysayers to eat crow.
This. Signing Ben is great and all (hopefully it works out) but they haven’t done anything to show success. The only thing this should quell were people that were worried about the Bears front office looking so dysfunctional that they couldn’t get the guy they wanted.

To consistently compete with organizations who win big, you need to make moves like this consistently. You need to go execute drafts that are the equivalent of getting Ben Johnson. You need to develop players in a way that falls in line with getting Ben Johnson. You need to spend on the right pieces that make you say “man, that free agency offseason was as good as getting Ben Johnson as a head coach is good.”

Ron Wolf got Ben Johnson all the time with his decisions lol. Ditto Carmen Policy etc

You have David Haugh calling them a playoff team based on this. It sounds dopey. Have a good draft. Sign a good free agent class. Have them show you they are a playoff team

Only thing I know is we had to sit through all siglers bs posts about him going to the raiders for nothing, that guy needs to cook and eat a crow live and quit writing attention grabbing bs articles 🤣
4thQ: That's why I like to play the game of "Not Opening Sig's Posts". It really is fun.

My record was at 3 months until I fucked up and opened one last week. He got me with one of his tread titles. I'm back on a 4 day streak now! Go me! 😀

lol classic Haugh.
Can’t stand him.
This organization doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt but I suppose actually getting the guy you wanted is a step in the right direction.

It’s already out there that Johnson received assurances that Warren and George would not meddle with him and Poles.

So no…

I actually have more information on the details of this.

What the Bears front office did... is nothing short of mind-blowing. And we actually have Kevin Warren to thank for a LOT of it.

Warren was underwater in the Michigan lake to see if he can build a stadium there.

It was Virgina that pulled out some shillings and asked Ben Johnson, how much you need son?

The front office was actually quite the opposite for once, but it did take some doing to get everyone on the same page and up to a professional standard.

You really don't understand anything about Kevin Warren.

The one thing that you have the inside information on is is what the McDonald's test kitchen is cooking up.

You have zero inside information on the Bears hiring Johnson
