he is projected at best 6/7 hitter on a team with a descent lineup. he is for sure not a 3 hitter.

I think he's saying Castro isn't a 3-hitter now. Depending on how he fills out and how well he hits as he develops he could be anywhere from a heart-of-the-order guy to out of the league. We simply don't know yet. This season, because the team sucks so bad, he's one of the few options they can plug into the top of the lineup or the 3-hole. Such is Cub life.

Unless the Cubs somehow force extras, Darwin Barney should secure the NL errorless streak record now. Still think it's a bit of a copout since he had an error at SS during that "streak" but it's still been an impressive season for him defensively.
