It's hockey insight, not beer league insight. Those injuries don't heal in a couple days. They feel better, but they certainly aren't healed. Without resting them straight through for a week or two, they linger and bug you. Lots of similar injuries in other sports that are exactly the same way. Basketball, football, etc.

The point is really simple. The more rest, the better those things feel. It doesn't take long for professional athletes to get back up to speed after a week off.

Like you know what injuries feel like. Isn't your body far superior to everyone else's and practically invincible?

I'm not on the ice and they don't read this board...crown em'.:yep:

Amen.

Never understood why people try and lecture other fans about overconfident about their team in the postseason. Makes no sense. Zero fucking impact.

If anything, I thrive on how smug and arrogant I'm allowed to be when discussing hockey thanks to my Hawks fandom. Sure makes up for what we deal with every fucking football season.

I wasn't talking about the fans' overconfidence or momentum, I was talking about the players. Sunbiz can meatball all he wants. I LOVE that shit. Gets me pumped. But it isn't neccessarily true that the Hawks can steamroll any team at will, because things like momentum, confidence, being pumped, playing physical, icing, faceoffs, bad ice, home ice, away ice and the arrangement of the different lines.

Q is "the magical line generator"

HHM -

Just so you know this is a real thing.

Q has an iPad hooked up to the AT&T WiFi at the United Center and uses a website the Blackhawks made to help him set his lines.

We used to actually have the program on IHN - not sure if someone can dig it up and link it?

Magical line generator? Does this make a random set of lines? Would it spit out a Kane, Desjardins, Teuvo line? WHAT IS THIS?

All that stuff you listed is cute and all, but the reason the Hawks are better is because they have better talent. That's it.

Did they have better talent in 2010 when they swept the Sharks then went out to win the first two games (should have been 3) in the cup finals against Philly... Wait... yes they did, what was my point again?

Had one of those. Tylenol 3s cleared it right up. Btw, did i tell u guys about the meniscus tear? Fucking marching band injury. We were doing an intense moving formation where the baritone players flipped our horns up in the air and caught eachothers. Well, i was first chair (im a boss like that-all state) and dipshit second chair was joking around and tried a handoff instead of flipping his, i ended up saving both instruments but wrecked my knee. Never did mma again. :(
I mourn your loss. Many people go into non-clinical depression when they find out they'll never be able to put on spandex shorts and dry-hump other steroid-boosted bros ever again. :troll:
