I mourn your loss. Many people go into non-clinical depression when they find out they'll never be able to put on spandex shorts and dry-hump other steroid-boosted bros ever again. :troll:

you wouldn't say that jizz right in front of my face IRL though, troll.

I think getting that extra couple of nights off was important. The Ducks are playing well but right now, the Hawks are playing as well as they have all season. Hawks in a tough seven game series.

I think if you are gonna talk "rest" you should probably start a "rest" thread. This is a momentum thread. TIME TO GET PUMPED UP!!!

Look, I know it's easy for me to sit here in a dark basement wearing a cheeto-stained wifebeater and make fun of people on the internet who are different than me (that's why it's one of my hobbies), but you cannot tell me that MMA fighters who wear spandex shorts (some with "Training mask" emblazoned on their groin) and like to roll around in an octagon beating the snot out of each other isn't the least bit Top Gun-esque "I just want to take my shirt off and play volleyball!"

It's almost as bad as the WWE. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I was more of a standup fighter - Judo not jujitsu. But hate away, hater. :)

I will say even though the Wild got swept, that Matt Cooke is one hard nosed player

A regular lunchpail to work type of guy. Works hard day in and day out. Blue shirtted and collared. You can tell he's pulled himself up by his bootstraps once or twice.

If there was anyone, who wouldn't get you pumped but Matt Cooke.

Seems like the Hawks all did momentum keg stands before the game.

I'd say they have momentum right now, rite?

Hopefully the Hawks didn't too many momentum keg stands last night to get them through 3OT.

I hope they have loaded up on momentum for this game since they just finished playing a double header.

Hawks really need to get this one. They have the momentum and the huge advantage now by breaking home ice. They go up 2-1 with game 4 at home, that's a lot of pressure. Don't want to give them back home ice by losing tonight.

We'll know within the first 5 minutes of the second period how pumped they are and if they are actually going to use the momentum to their advantage. I'm hoping to see some huge hits from Bickell and Shaw right out the gate and see if the other players respond. Maybe Toews just needs to sit the first period, observe the hitting and then come out with some serious physicality in the second trimester?
