I've seen several trade thread ideas where Monta Ellis ends up with the Bulls, there's Aggrey Sam's column suggesting we send out Joakim Noah, or there's this the Golden State Sam Smith suggesting we send out Luol Deng for him.Both...

I'm not to keen on getting Ellis in general, but for Deng or Noah? No, thanks. The things that made the 2010-11 Bulls so special were defense, chemistry and the MVP. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't seen more than 20 GS games over the last two or three seasons, but as far as I can tell, Ellis is an undersized volume shooter and a liability on defense.
Giving up the arguably best center in Bulls history for Ellis would be crazy!

A lot of people would say the same thing about Rose, considering they're stats are almost identical, except Ellis shoots a higher percentage, and Ellis doesn't have a top rated rebounding or defensive unit backing him.And truthfully both are below average defenders.

And Noah being one of the best Centers in Bulls history is a joke! How many times does Noah have to shoot the ball over the top of the backboard before people figure out he is nothing more than a hustle player, who sucks offensively. When teams match his effort he becomes a non-factor,thats why the last two years in game 5's he was pathetic and the Bulls went home as expected. But I guess thats ok with the fans as long as he screams a lot.

D-Rose isn't undersized for a point guard.

And you are underrating Roses defense, he cant go all out on the defensive end when he has to do almost everything on offenses a person only has so much energy but if you look at this seasons numbers against the so called top point guards when Rose was really out to prove something he absolutely demolished their asses.

You just dont realize what Jo brings to the table do you? He is one of the best offensive and overall rebounders in the league, probably the best center defensively on the pick and roll, can guard all 5 positions and lead a fast break.

How many centers in the league can do that? He is a decent offensive player and an amazing defensive player, not everyone can be Dwight Howard who IMO is the only center better than Jo

you would have a hard time naming 2 or 3 other players who can do this at his position....seriously he can make the steal, secure it,lead the fast break, & dish the pass to finish it off if needed....Jo's done this so much its 2nd nature to him like scratching his ass & rolling joints

I think thats a big thing that people forget about our team is we can get better with the parts we have now.. Not saying we dont need any other parts but our own players improvement plus the work of the brass could mean good things for next season

He'd be worth Noah IMO.

Not sure about Deng just because our back court is already paper thin.
