Yes to logic. Get him some minutes on one of the top 2 lines, keep that third line intact as much as you can.

Doesn't he already have 20+ goals along with Morin?

Hayes is a beast... just don't know if it can translate to the NHL level yet. His style from watching him play live reminds me of Milan Lucic. Obviously not close to as good as Milan Lucic, but similar play styles.

Yea I think he's the only one over 20 goals there. Not sure what his skill translates to the NHL level other than I'd like to see him here trying.

Lucic? Wouldn't go that far.

He's just a big body player with some skill and isn't afraid to bang his body around. Lucic though is a lot more nasty, skilled and knows how to use his big frame.

Yea so you just said exactly what I did... same play style... not same skill.

I've seen Jimmy play in probably 9-10 games live and he definitely plays like Lucic but like you say and so did I, a much lesser skilled version.

I don't think he has the same skill as Lucic but plays a similar style

Uptown baby!
I'm happy for JHayes as he's been EN FUEGO! and has earned this look. Still, I personally would have preferred to see Morin called up first. He's also been EN FUEGO! Since the post-lockout roster has basically been set with the call-ups to the Hawks both of them have been lights out and invaluable to Rockford. But with Morin I am anxious to see if he can regain any of his pre-concussion and developmental setback mojo with the big show. That just really threw 1+ years off his game as he was so all over the place and agitated when he finally returned to action and played with the Hogs last season. This season I have seen a difference and maturity to his game from the very start of the 2012-13 season. His confidence like JHayes' must be soaring right now. And this call-up wouldn't even be a fucking thing to have a beef with if they'd STOP with the fucking farce of having Bollig up and simply look at Morin and JHayes, heh.

I think the Hawks need more of what Hayes brings to the table. Size and physicality are two things that this team is lacking right now. Hawks are overloaded with sub 200 pounders. Give me that 6'6" 220 lb. player, please.

I'd like to see Morin put on a few more pounds of muscle before hitting the big show, especially with the injury history.

Not really Grimsonov...we're saying that Lucic and Hayes have different skillsets...but play the same style

Really close, but not quite what I was saying. Ultimately, since they are not Russian, they are the same... but different.

I agree, I think Q could appreciate having a big body at his disposal. I'm surprised it took this long honestly, almost was a disservice to Hayes to keep him in Rockford this long after being so effective last season. Then again, Ben Smith is still waiting too...
