Las Vegas on new years eve.

I spent 4th of July on a mountain top just outside of Las Vegas twice about 40 years apart, amazing each time.

We were at the Red Rock Canyon National Park...just west of Vegas. We did a lot of partying in Henderson and in Boulder City. Too pricey in Vegas

I have friends that live in Vegas they rave about Mt. Charleston.

The only time they go to the strip is when visitors are in town, they live in a mansion way north and so they go to locals places like Aliente which is 5 minuted from their house, much better gaming odds, lower limits, the food is just as good and costs halve as much. That's also where they go to see movies.

Strip properties are charging for parking and are getting very stingy with the cocktails. Off strip local casinos know they have to keep the drinks flowing to keep the casino filled.

That started about 5 years ago when MGM decided they needed more revenue. I fucking despise MGM properties. Go stay at Boyd Properties....ie Aliante, Coast properties,

You guys are right on with the strip. Everything changes but it pisses me off. My brother and I are Raiders season ticket holders and we can't wait to scalp the **** outta drunk ass tourists having a "guys weekend" in Vegas. The only game I'll make it out there for is the inaugural game and anytime the Bears are there. Other than that, I'm hoping for 2X face value.

Iceland. Hands down. Currently there now lol.

Northern Italy in the Dolomites a close second. And then Patagonia. Am visiting Switzerland late this summer so maybe that’ll move the list around.
