Kessel, Bieksa, Wiz, Versteeg, and Luongo

Good list. I'll add to it with both the Sedins, Burrows, Redden, DiPietro and it pains me to add his name as he was one of our "guys"...Soupy Campbell. :nana:

UPDATE After some brief deliberation I've decided to add the entire Vancouver Canuck franchise including GM, coach and fans to the list. Only exception being Kesler.

Luongo for sure. One bad bounce and he starts playing like a *****. When they need him, he goes into hiding.

I've also never been as taken with the Sedins as the rest of the world. They tend to disappear.

Until the playoffs this year I would have had Thornton on this list but he finally got his shit together in the postseason.

That's because they have to go to the locker room and give each other reacharounds.

You know who else? Kovalev. I'm glad he's gone. Not that he wasn't a good player, because he was. 60, 70 points a year. Hooray. Decent player. He was Sharpy. The problem I had with him was that everyone made out like he was Gretzky or something and if he ever sniffed 100 points I don't remember it. He was good. Pretty good. Maybe really good for a year or two. He was never great.

Lot of good names up there- Phaneuf is really a great choice too -actually I suppose you could name the entire Toronto Maple Leafs as well as the Vancouver Canucks teams as if you read enough of their fans' comments - it ends up being the gist of the thread here.

I do think for overall, nothingness ever achieved, despite expectations (irrespective of if in reality there was no justification for them) - has to be 7uongo...

However, I suppose Honorable Mention automatically goes to whoever Pierre Maguire gushes about on TV when he's on. (Or maybe his ratings of someone are automatically over-rated ... I'm not sure how that works- or if that even applies).

I suppose, now in thinking about it -- it does actually depend upon who's doing the rating... think about it -- if you as a fan are rating players... then, I suppose the question ends up being -who were you, (aka 'the rater') most wrong about? :D

Ok, forget, that -I blame too many coffees on that... -well, that and multi-tasking. . . :D

Another one...Jay Bouwmeester. Severely overpaid & overrated.

Hasn't touched 30 points in his first two seasons in Calgary.
