They are said to be making a movie to wrap things up but I haven't heard much about that since last year. It was a good show. I heard it angered the Chicago Political Machine since they didn't like to be painted in a negative light (even though it was fictional).

Yeah, they were planning on a movie to tie up all the open-endings left by the abrupt cancel, but I heard that's no longer in the works. I heard people close compared Kane to Daley, without the illegal shit of course LOL.

Anyone ever watch Boss? I thought the show was pretty fucking good but it never garnered enough ratings and got canceled.

Boss was a great show..I heard it was cancelled cause Kelsey Grammer got into some personal trouble..

Never heard anything like that. They weren't even averaging a million viewers a week.

Starz just doesn't have the quality that HBO has. Spartacus was cool for a season or two though.

Spartacus was great, but it's a shame Andy Whitfield died of cancer. He was a better Spartacus IMO. Had more charisma.

I buy all the DVDs. Special Edition too, because my mom bought me the first one and now I have to collect all their faces.

If all you see is nudity and violence in GoT then everything is flying right over your head. Its one of the few shows that has so many concurrent storylines all being developed at once. Its that character depth that keeps me coming back for more.

Same exact thing could be said about Lost. I watched Lost religiously in college (Stoned). If it wasn't for that show and the Bears, I wouldn't have owned a TV. The only reason Lost is viewed as overrated now is because of the SHITTY ending. I'm still pissed.

Just got through season 1 of the wire. I'm liking it so far. Didn't get caught up in the hype like I did with the Sopranos.

How I Met Your Mother is also another show I find quite lame.

The first 3-4 seasons were good, a lot of funny stuff and good story lines...after that unless you had watched from the beginning I could see how someone would not like the show. By the end I was pot committed and wanted to see how they would end it.

About to finish watching the wire, I like this too, but The Sopranos was better IMO. Going to start on Oz this week.

I was addicted to Boss. Kelsey G was amazing as the mayor. Agreed, the ratings were just horrible. In fact, we were lucky to get 2 seasons. It only got a 2nd season because Starz renewed it before the first episode of Season 1 even aired. They probably regretted that decision.

LOL, GoT is awesome, but sometimes they kill me when they try to cram 17 story lines into one episode. Right now, only show I like more is Hannibal. I plan on watching The Wire, Oz, and the Shield, Rome, as well as trying to get into Boardwalk Empire again. Planning on checking out Fargo at some point too.

I was devastated when HBO cancelled Rome after 2 seasons. Usually, a show will get at least 3 seasons unless it completely flames out. Heard the budget was so massive for Rome that HBO couldn't justify it.

But I feel that is one of the most underrated shows of all-time.

Fargo is by far the best thing on TV right now. Most over rated was Desperate Housewives. HATED that show.

Fargo, True Detective, Game of Thrones, and House of Cards are the 4 best shows right now.
