My first, only, & probably last motorcycle. I got tired of people on 4 wheels trying to kill me but in the end my shoulders and back just couldn't take it anymore.

Never owned/rode a motorcycle but I did play the hell out of Excitebike on NES back in the day.

I never rode one. They look fun but I don't think I'm a motorcycle guy tbh so I'd never get one. My buddy lost half of his leg (below the knee) from a motorcycle accident as well.

My brother's brother in law is crippled from the waste down from a motorcycle accident.

With vehicles I seek practicality and reliability. I'm not one who can be impressed by motorcycles or sexy cars.

Did ride a moped in Palma. The friend I was with drove one through a store window. We wuz drunk at the time.

Yeah I have a brotherinlaw who kept preaching at me how motorcycles were so unsafe. Then 2 weeks ago I get a call that he is in the hospital with a grade 2 concussion and needing to have his shoulder replaced because he crashed on his bicycle. 60 percent of motorcycle accidents are the fault of a person driving a car not the biker.

I agree about the young idiots riding the crotch rockets at 150 mph on the freeway and doing wheelies. They deserve to die. But taking a ride on a nice afternoon in the mountains is one of the things I look forward to. I guess people should not water ski or ride ski doos because there is a danger you could get hurt. You could also get hit by a bus. So does that mean you should stop living life?

60%? That seems low to me. It was a daily occurrence that someone either pulled out infront of me or sitched lanes into the one I was riding in. People just seem to look right through motorcycles. Hell, a lady literally rear ended me at a stoplight when I was stopped with my feet on the ground. My driving was big city driving though. (Honolulu & San Antonio). Trying to keep cars from killing me drove me insane.

Not a fan of long rides cross country anymore, but I do occasionally trailer my bike on trips for use at the destination.
I have done phoenix to vegas a few times, always a fun mountain run.

How's cross country riding? That's my goal; but I'll be getting a bigger bike for that. Keep my Triumph to ride around locally, but get a street glide couple years to take a long distance cruise.

Nice bike .But I am partial to Harley's. Still trying to decide if I like the fact of adding a fairing on my Low Rider. Just got tired of the 70 MPH death grip. I don't do long trips anymore either. Just to hard on the old bones. I enjoy doing the poker runs and such.

Cross country is fine if you own an Ultra Glide. Much tougher on my bike. I did it in my younger years. California to Sturgis twice. Now I trailer the bike and enjoy 70 mph in the air conditioned truck
