My first, only, & probably last motorcycle. I got tired of people on 4 wheels trying to kill me but in the end my shoulders and back just couldn't take it anymore.

Black and yellow... sorta reminds me of the BMX bike I had when I was a kid.

A piece of shit Huffy Thunder. Only this picture is a lie because the seat never stayed up... and while my friends were pulling wheelies and hopping curbs on their Mongoose's and Schwinn's, I was always the asshole going home early with a road rash because the fucking handlebars wouldn't lock down either.

I guess I have a childhood of shitty bicycles to thank for not getting the motorcycle bug.

You are either my age, or they have been cranking that bike out unchanged for years!
I am pretty sure I had that exact same piece of shit in 3rd or 4th grade.
one summer I got tired of the handlebars slipping- I undid the bolt on the neck and scored up the bars and the inside of the neck with a hacksaw blade and that kinda held for a few months. When they started to slip again, I tried shims but it didnt work.

My buddies dad took us to a police auction the following summer- and what a wonderful thing that was. the rest of my bike riding childhood was spent on all sorts of great bikes that were dirt cheap from the auction.

Yeah, I stole that pic from the bmxmuseum.com website and the dates for the Huffy Thunder range from the late 70's to the early 80's.

I had the 1980ish model with the standard spokes and the two clamp neck, which was probably an improvement over the earlier models, but nonetheless still a total piece of shit.
