It hangs over my bed so I stare at it all night while he points at me. And yes. It's very easy to clean.

Who can forget him?

Two words for him... pec implants. Or maybe back then in the 80's it was just a small breast implant flattened out.

Just sayin'

You admiration seems a wee bit concerning.

Pandorum. So much promise, so much cheese. Honestly the mutants did not need to be a part of the story...and what was up with the fast forwarding of the "action"? That is worse than mega fast cuts. Watch only at 3:00 am while drunk....though the german chick is a babe.

I was curious whether or not they were going to do that... I wouldn't be surprised if it's a straight-to-video type of thing.

Maybe JCVD and Segal can finally get on board now! <-sarcasm

Straight to stream, I hear. And JCVD should be in it to reenact his dance scene in Breakin' 2:Electric Boogaloo!

The horrible acting is almost worth it when they all go ass to mouth. But seriously, Daniel Tosh does a 20 minute run-down of this movie that is, in my opinion, more entertaining than watching the whole movie. Seriously, look it up instead.

The Expendables - terrible. I like plenty of bad action movies, but this was just boring and truly bad, IMO.

I saw it in the theater and walked in knowing it wasn't going to be Citizen Kane and loved every second of it. Hell, just a chance to see Dolph Lundgren(sp?) play a badass again was worth the price of a ticket. Great throwback to the shitty action movies of the eighties... seriously wondering how you could find it boring.

I'll offer up a tie-breaker here. I didn't like it, and I had such low expectations I'm not sure they could have been any lower. The action sequences were great fun (in a totally mindless, i-know-this-is-junkfood-cinema kind of way) but they were too infrequent. And the attempt at plot was more hole-riddled than most of the corpses in the flick. Why bother? I mean seriously. You've got a great cast and you blow shit up, who the **** needs to manufacture some "evil white man controls brown government and hardened badass falls for chick he doesn't even try to ****" excuse for a plot. Skip it and make more bodies. And more Statham. Shirtless.

Tosh is how I found out about this movie. Honestly it is just a so out there concept that I wonder what type and number of drugs everyone was on during the production. Then again, it has created a ton of humor at work. From our own "Human ______" to the "Vampire Centipede Diaries" series, to me threatening my team to do that to them if the do not perform.

Soundtrack for a Revolution

Highly recommended.

Film about the important role music played in the Civil Rights Movement. Has great interviews with movement leaders, performances by current artists, and some horrifying archival footage.

It was alright, but horribly predictable, and yes we could have done better than, humans evolved to eat other humans as side antagonists, an idea that was lifted directly from the time machine.

I knew the big twist at the end 15mins into the movie.

I wanted to see Bale win an Oscar for his role in The Fighter and he did. Watching after the event while flipping channels I came

across this blonde haired lady holding an Oscar and being asked questions. I was thinking to myself, who the heck is that?

Pretty attractive lady I might add. I come to find out it was the actress who played the mother in The Fighter. Holy Crap, really??? Wow, never in a million years would I have thunk that.

Was disappointed to read today that Bridges did not win in his rold of Rooster in True Grit. Damn was he convinicing in that role.

Saw Drive Angry this weekend in 3D.

First things first... Cage's acting is (as usual) awful.

Secondly... the plot is pretty predictable and full of more than a few holes.

With that said, I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie. Since 3D came back into vogue, this is the first movie I've seen to actually utilize the technology without just adding depth to the background of the screen. In fact, I would go so far as to say that they used it better than Avatar... I got through the entire movie and didn't actually get a headache from the glasses. From bullets firing at the screen to barely being splattering with brain matter, it was 3D the way I always imagined it could be.

As for the plot - if you liked the old grindhouse movies... this is right up that alley. Fast cars, tits, guns and satanists - there's really not much more to the movie and for what it is, it's a pretty good time. Definitely not a "thinker" but schlocky fun and made for popcorn.

I don't usually recommend this... but if you're thinking about seeing this, I would say spend the extra couple bucks and go 3D.

Yea I agree about figuring out the big twist early into the flick. The problem was they way they did the foreshadowing in a completely and overtly way that spelled out the twist. For a movie where the primary part of the plot and setting is "what happened?", it is pretty key to give just small nuggets (like when the "capt'n" started "freaking out" in the last 1/2 hour). And really how could those mutants have lived as long as they have off of each other and whatever humans were released from their pods? Do they breed like rabbits?

The sad thing is the premise was good (minus the mutant human evolution thing), but the execution was poor.
