my back is vital to my career nothing cool about this shit im pretty worried ive been fit and healthy and got by on good genetics most of my life I really never gave a lot of thought to being hurt but now im worried without my back im fucked. looks like its time to do some serious work in the gym and build this shit back up once I get healthy. simply cannot let this develop into a lifelong problem
That sucks cause there's nothing worse than a back injury. Hurt mine bad once and continued to work for several days until I just couldn't walk anymore. After a few days in bed I was back up again but seemed like it took forever to be pain free. I feel for ya

Have you thought about learning other skills? Manual labor is young man's work.

Sucks with back pain that half the people you tell don't seem to believe you or can't seem to get how bad it is. There is no real outward sign of the damage.

****, even doctors can be dicks about it. The pain can be fucking horrible. Last time I had sciatic issues, I couldn't get off the ground. When I went to the doctor, I passed out in the car cause sitting in the seat cause so much pain.

This is gonna sound a little ***, but I suggest some yoga. This may sound even gayer but specifically Ddp yoga. You remember the wrestler? He has this man type yoga. Works wonders. I punched my sciatic nerve to my left leg last year. Shit took me down for two weeks. Felt like someone was severing my leg at all times. I could
Stand for more than 20 second without being on the brink of killing myself. It
Scared me cause I was only 27. I started doing that yoga and I have had no trouble since and my ability to bend was tremendous. I'm a big guy and the tricks I could pull on some skeezers after that was quite impressive

Why would yoga be ***? And man type yoga? Cmon. Men invented yoga.

Yoga is an awesome workout...i do it twice a week..improves flexibility, improves respiration, has restorative benefits and you get to look at hot chicks in yoga pants bending over for an hour...my only tip, stay in the back of the class...best view

Ah, if you're a mason you're a skilled craftsman, not just a laborer, you still have a lot to offer and there are things you can do. I hope your back feels better soon though because I know how frustrating that has to be.

Doctors and nurses get in a tough spot. So many people abuse the system for drugs. They also have to deal with so many different levels of pain tolerance. Some people take pain way better then others. Some cry like a little butch over a paper cut. Take the pills away and give them the weed and this would go smoother.

they said basicly I separated my back right where my ass hooks to my spine

Where your sacrum hooks to your lumbar spine? Like maybe you have a bulging disk pressing on some nerves? Get a good PT and you'll be ok but take care of yourself because you never want it to get bad enough to need surgery. Hope you get it sorted quick.:)
