Eyes Wide Shut?

Yup, this has become a two man game, you go ahead and pick a flick, but I'm not going to guess until tomorrow, see if we can get some others involved.

A door-to-door salesperson finds a young man home alone and decides to bring him back to their suburban town home. He initially starts a salon, but is so weird he gets run out of town.

I have no idea, and I'm confused by the hint. A young man takes a salesman back to his parents town home?

Sorry about that. I corrected it; it should read:

A door-to-door salesperson finds a young man home alone and decides to bring him back to their suburban town home. He initially starts a salon, but is so weird he gets run out of town.

Hint 2: Character suggests the young man may be the cause of snow.

I still have no idea, this is probably a movie I have never seen. It has been 3 days since anyone other than us has made a guess.

Crud, I made a spelling error too. I meant to type he starts a salon, not a saloon. I got to proof read better.

He wants to start a hair salon to cut hair. Bet that makes a big difference. :)

LOL -- can't even spell crud right. I'll give you the answer: Edward Scissorhands. The 'Avon-calling' door-to-door salesperson mom found him alone (in his mini-castle) and brought him back to her suburban town. He was going to start a hair salon to cut hair, but cause he was so weird the towns people chased him out. Also, the beginning and end of the film they indicate it snows because Edward is ice sculpting on the hilltop.

I'll put the next film up for grabs until I learn how to spell.

Actually that was one of the best, very well played, I've seen it a couple of times. I'm gonna pass, let somebody else get involved, we have been keeping this going for awhile, if others want to play, here is their chance.

Is it still open? I'll take it if it is. I'll put it in spoilers in case I am wrong.

A seven year old boy spends three days in a closet learning a severe lesson by his father. He postmortem's this "lesson" to his last relative,

Yep, it's open. This looks like a good one. You mean a server (harsh) lesson, right?

Let's go with another clue.

1) A seven year old boy spends three days in a closet learning a severe lesson by his father. He postmortem's this "lesson" to his last relative,

2) The last relative campaigns all over the US in case anyone is on holiday.

EDIT: Back again tomorrow

Answer: Closets

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4643840/

"CLOSETS is an interesting, unusual film with a sci-fi twist. It features a tormented 16 year old boy called Henry who, on 12 March 1986, time travels through his bedroom closet and meets up with a similar present day teenager, Ben, occupying his same bedroom 30 years later. Ben and Henry's developing friendship highlights past and present-day issues facing young *** teenagers. While our society's attitudes towards LGBTs has improved dramatically over the past three decades, Ben and Henry's story shows that confusion about sexual identity and homophobic bullying, can still result in self harming and suicidal intentions. These two teenagers from different time zones develop a deep friendship offering each support and optimism for the future. This is an unusual, compassionate and ultimately uplifting story, peppered with sorrow, humour and hope."

I would figure this from Warden, never from Brett, way to keep us on our toes Brett.

Okay, my turn.

I was going to guess that animated film Coco. I didn't see it, but I know he goes to the land of the dead, probably sees a dead relative, but not sure about a closet.
