I'm not kidding.

Rush, who very rarely even logs in anymore, goes to other message boards to grab posters. He promises that everything will be the same for said posters (as evidenced in the last page), but I'm guessing doesn't tell you guys what that same is. So now you mix in new posters who have been told they'll get to do what they've been doing to a new group that has a completely different style. Recipe for disaster, and the same thing happened with CBMB.

Dollars to doughnuts Rush didn't even take the time to understand the culture of IHN or CBMB, he just saw it as a chance to get newer members here. I'll even go as far to say that he didn't give the other mods a pre-warning of how the newer posters would be. So instead of having some organic growth to make smooth transitions, Rush just drops the ball.

Actually, while what you are saying has some merit at points, Rush came to IHN and we initially turned him down, kind of a couple of times. He stuck around and got to know the board but wasn't really an active participant. He did say everything would essentially be the same and I don't think that's too far off inside of the hawk forum, we kind of lost access to all the other forums because it's a bit of a rodeo out there, but it's not like he lured us away with promises, we ended up coming over in the end because IHN feel apart at the leadership is all, this was more stable. It was either come over here and hope that he was right and everything would be the same, or change the board leadership completely as the owner couldn't do it anymore and risk the thing collapsing all together.

I don't mind it here, really. I just stay in Blackhawks, the Bar, and occasioanlly peek into the Fire forum but as yet there hasn't been a Timbers/Fire match (and I have nothing but the utmost respect for Section 8). None of the other sports I currently follow nor care to follow again:

Is there an ihn ccs fued happing or something? Such ***. I always will love the ihn guys and gals they entertain me and i have met real friends through that place. Ccs has been fun as **** since i came here and some of these guys i have met so far are awesome fun and enteraining...dumb as **** when it comes to hockey though but good people none the less. Of course i am talking about DMelt here. Good guy dumb **** hockey fan though. All Saad boner licking and all.
