A) LeBron James is more of a help defender than anything else. He can man the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 positions all well (especially the 2 and 3) but he is usually roaming on defense no matter who he is guarding and trying to move with the basketball of the opposing offense trying to jump in passing lanes and block shots from the side or behind.

So was Scottie Pippen! Lebron "roams" when able to, but to say that he is an excellent help-defender doesn't take away from him being an excellent man defender. This hurts your argument since a majority of blocked shots come from help defense.

B) Hunter needed to know the ropes better than a player with the physical tools of LeBron or even a Ron Harper because of the fact that he was so much smaller than basically everyone else. Hunter had great footwork and knew how to read a ball-handler. LeBron occassionally has his let-downs when defending perimeter scorers one-on-one. He is not a God of defense.

You mean to tell me, after watching Lebron guard Rose last year...you don't think Lebron has great footwork? Seriously? And Hunter was a good man defender, always was, but he didn't occassionally have let-downs?

And LeBron James is so fast and athletic that there are plenty of times where he gets crossed right by and ends up still blocking the shot of the guy who crossed him. And let's not forget that LeBron has Wade and Pippen had Jordan who were also great help defenders and very versatile defenders in general.

I'd say you are acting like/being a dunce fan who is disrespecting Hunter for automatically assuming that LeBron knows more about defense than him simply because that he is a bigger name or that he had more physical ability.

So yah

I still think this post pretty much sums up how fucking stupid Rami is.

Rami makes the statement that Hunter knows more about defense than James. No one really disagrees, we just ask him to qualify the statement and all of a sudden Rami then states that we are "dunces" for simply assuming one player knows more than another player....when Rami is the only person on the board to make any sort of statement like that.

Rami is truly Special person and insane.
