just had my best game. 29 points, 7 boards, 5 assists, 3 steals and a block

Won my first Player of the Game, and turned my ankle in OT. :D

If it's anything like 2k11, I'm gonna barely be able to move unless sprinting for the next few games.

NBA Live 2003 was good. Then every year got worse and worse. 2K really saved video game basketball.

no...NBA live was bad after like 05...

atleast for me...06 sucked...08 was really really bad...after that i stopped getting nba games until this year

i got some ncaa games though...ncaa 10 is still fun

Yeah I got 2004, 2005, and 2006 and got pretty annoyed with each increasing one. At least 04 had Jordan in it.

I'm thinking hard about requesting a trade. Can I request one to certain teams (i.e. the Bulls)? Or will it trade me to a random team?

You get 3 teams that you prioritize. You might get traded to them, you might not, but there's a good chance you will.

i might request a trade too...the warriors are boring...their best guy is ellis and he really isnt that good(rating wise)

Right now I'm playing on the 76ers as a SG. Now that I'm starting, they chose to bench Iguadola, which hurts the team in general. I'm playing 9 min quarters and 12 min sim-quarters....and most the games end in the 70s. I wanna score, I want my team to score, and I wanna win. Thinking Bulls, maybe Knicks? Thunder?

In 2k11, requesting trades to your desired team was hard to do. But they made it a lot easier to go wherever you want in 2k12.

Yeah. I already noted that I figured out the fix. Im 20 games into season 2, and I'm on the trade block for not being happy with my team :shrug: yet, I never requested a trade LMAO.

Our line-up is now:

PG: Me (SF but I am a PG secondary)
SG: Ray Allen
SF: Manu (I have no idea why)
PF: Lamar Odom
C: DH12

The first substitution has Kirk Hinrich and CJ Watson come in and play PG and SG, and I get moved to PF with Kyle Korver playing SF and some 66-overall rookie playing C.

My last 3 press conferences have been, how do you feel about the trade rumors? Seriously, this is hilarious, but if I find myself traded to some team other than the Bulls, I'm going to be pissed. I'm OVR 99 right now and on a rookie contract.

Do the milestones. See which ones you have missed, then add your skill points to those areas to help you achieve them. By the time you're in your second season, you should be able to be in the 90s. If you're good at scoring heaps then you'll get up even faster.

I think what helped me, was making a 7'0"ft tall SF with PG secondary, and made him a "point forward". I got subbed into all 5 positions, which helped me get minutes early on.

I broke my 2k12 disc in half the other day out of rage because my teammates can't make a layup.

Seriously though, I hate this game so much sometimes. I needed to take a break from it and I'm not one to take video games seriously.
