a bit of both....i've played all the playoff games

do you know easy ways to score? there are some points in the game i get droughts because i cant post up well or make baseline shots...gotta work on my scoring versatility

The only easy points I get are in the post actually. I've been using the up and under move a lot. Usually a score or a foul. I get cheesed out of points sometimes though because I'll get a contact layup animation. I upped my strength and shot close and post scoring a little bit as well. If you do that, you should be able to do the same.

ya the shooting %s are somewhat realistic..i remember in some games you could take midrange Js all game and you would never miss....

i think they underscored it a little but thats jmo...i have really good sliders for shooting and offense overall and that helps

still have issues with TOs..but since im still playing on Pro..i still play well and get wins

Just had my best game so far (5th or so game)... 18 minutes, 14 points on 6-9 shooting, 2 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals.

21 pts, 6 ast, 3 stls, 2 rbs in my debut for the Miami Heat. My contract runs out at the end of the year, purely using the Heat to boost my stats to get that big contract. :smoke:

Got near a triple double today. 40 points, 8 boards, 10 assists, and a steal. The fact that I needed to do all that to beat the freaking Timberwolves is a testament to how bad my AI teammates play. I could've had about 15 assists this game, but Rip was blowing layups or getting blocked a heck of a lot. I also had 6 BS turnovers...but that was an aberration. I doubt Ricky Rubio will be stripping the ball from me in the post ever again. Plus the game didn't let me pick up the ball...I ran right next to it and it zipped into his hand. :dunno:

On a different note, the game I just played - I couldn't draw a foul to save my life...defense wouldn't bite on a pump-n-go, my post moves aren't great, but I'm learning...but damn, I had like 5 shots blocked tonight.

Early season struggles bro. I was shooting like 26% for the first several games. No joke. It's up to 46% now, so there's hope for you yet. I couldn't draw fouls either...but now I have games with double digit attempts. I think it kinda comes over time...

Tonight's game really pissed me off. Playing the heat, having a really good game by my standards (finished with about 16 pts, 2 boards, 2 asts, 2 steals, 2 blocks), and had fouled lebron in the last 2 minutes to bring the score back down (he can't hit late FTs in the game either, lulz). So w/ 4.4 seconds left, I'm down by 3 w/ the ball, my team inbounding on our side of the floor.

The inbound goes to Jrue Holiday...who just stands there.

That's it.

Didn't shoot, wouldn't pass despite me calling for the ball. had no one on him.

I lost by 3, b/c the fucking computer wouldn't pass me (or anyone) the ball w/ time winding down.

Game ended w/ the ball in his hands. Lost by 3.

I always hated the off-seasons in sports games. The only beneficial part is the opportunity to increase your abilities...but contract negotiations, sponsorships, etc...screw that stuff.

no i mean they completely skipped the offseason...no training camp,even

my player is cool but it could still be more interactive...i'd like to see some shots of social events or stuff like that..idk maybe thats just my appeal

My only real complaint with MP is how fucking stupid the AI is. It really sucks.

I hate how if you throw a successful alley-oop, but it's slightly tipped by the other team, you get a "bad pass" on your meter, and don't get the assist. pure garbage.

Tipped passes that complete their paths are assists... except in NBA 2k. :shrug:

really hard not to turn the ball over periodically unless you are really conservative...the guys anticipate the passing lanes too well..sucks

48 points, 5 boards, and 10 assists against the Celtics in a double digit win today. :woot:

The only downside: 6 BS turnovers because Rondo's steal rating is so freaking high. He got his hands on every single possible "bad" pass. Still got an A+ teammate rating though.

dont yall hate when your teammate passes you the ball with 3 secs on the shot clock and you gotta chuck it up or get a turnover?

my player is the most frustrating mode

teammates dont play defense, take horrible shots, dont rebound, coaches put in the dumbest line ups on the floor, the opposing team hits everything (why cant my teammates play like them?) they hit 3's 90% of the time and if they do miss a 3 most the time they get a putback dunk

Sounds about right...

Don't forget about dribbling off the defender's foot when you try to do a signature move sometimes...

F this game. I have teammates just randomly running out of bounds, dribbling off the defenders, not passing the ball & then turning it over, etc. I dropped 34 last game vs. Orlando and we still lost by 11. I'm Miami. When I'm coming off the bench and dropping 34, you should usually win those games....

seems like its alot harder to win in the regular season than the playoffs.....i only lost one game in the playoffs yet i'm having issues against teams like minnesota the next regular season

its like my guys forget how to shoot and score
