Always consult the draft trade chart for approximate ideas on value. That's a 400 point swing which is alot closer to their 3rd and 4th round selections combined.

And it probably wouldn't take that much to get Chicago from #2 to #3, knowing DET gets their QB and Chicago gets the pass rusher they would have taken regardless.

It depends on what other QB needy teams are willing to give up but I can't see people giving up that much for CJ or Young.

If the Bears are trading down for a package like that, they’re going to have to trade down more than one spot.

These trade down scenarios are setting the bar way too high.
Not totally considering the team currently behind them at #3 is the Seahawks, who need a QB.

Yeah right.
However, the next matchup between the Bears and Lions could be interesting as each tries to out tank each other for a better draft pick.

Great!! Let the Bears trade with Seattle, Detroit takes a one year flyer on Geno Smith, and drafts Will Anderson right in front of the Bears............
Then who would be crying?

Even Pace wasn't stupid enough to trade 2 firsts to move up one spot and he loved throwing away draft picks

Are you sure?

It is a lot, but not nearly as much as the Bears.

Lions have a better offensive line, one WR and a second one when he recovers from injury, at least one top DE.

They are better in all of those over the Bears. The Bears offensive line needs at least one or two starters, they are down to zero WRs because of injuries and have zero pressure from their defensive ends. Just from this, the Bears have 4 or 5 more holes than the Lions.

I have not looked at the rest of the team, but the holes I mentioned on the bears are already a hole they have to overcome before they reach the level of holes on the Lions. Yes, the Lions may have other holes, but their QB hole will be filled by the trade up.

Jeff Okudah is finally showing signs of living up to his draft potential.
Alim McNeil is looking pretty good as well as Malcom Rodriguez.
Lions needs (other than QB) are DT, LB, maybe another corner.

Who cares what the shitty Lions do? They'll **** it up no matter what they do.

Not sure if you been paying attention, but there sure seems to me to be a lot of interest in what the Lions might do in the 2023 draft lately, dipshit.

Yes, but if the Rams win one game, and only one game, then the Lions let the Bears beat them, then the LA pick is higher than the Bears pick.
It is a one game "mini-tank".

In this situation, people here are ignoring that Detroit has added talent for years while the Bears were just gutted from a team that didn't have a lot of talent to begin with.

I USUALLY Consult Madden.

In Madden trading down one spot from 2-3 will net you a 2nd round pick.

I feel like in my lifetime the lions have always had a depth of talent, but have just been a shitty as **** franchise. Possibly the worst ran in all of sports.

Feel like by the time they figure out the QB situation again their good young players will say bye bye to detroit
