Except it does, It moves the Rams pick ahead of the Bears......

Idiot. That would be the Rams tanking effecting that pick. Not the Lions tanking. Which is what I was responding to.

I feel like in my lifetime the lions have always had a depth of talent, but have just been a shitty as **** franchise. Possibly the worst ran in all of sports.

Feel like by the time they figure out the QB situation again their good young players will say bye bye to detroit
Maybe that makes them desperate, and they trade the farm to move up to #2 and get their franchise QB, that is if everything falls the Bears way

I wasn't talking to you, moron. So its you whos confused on the context of the reply. I dont give a shit what you were saying, I didn't quote you or aim that comment at you.

He said the Lions and Bears would try to outtank each other, I told him the low pick isn't the Lions original pick, it depends on the Rams

Now stfu

Ok Sphagetti brain. Here is the thing:

1) If the Lions allowed the Bears to win (tank), would it or would in not have the Rams leap frog the Bears in draft order?
2) And how does that depend on the Rams?

I'm simply pointing out that the Lions tanking or not tanking has no effect on that pick

Now get a clue, and admit you were wrong.

The Lions tanking has no effect on the Rams pick that they acquired moron. So the Bears and Lions aren't going to try to out tank each other. The position of that pick depends on the Rams record.

Now shut the **** up and disappear for months again like you always do when the Lions are losing

Great!! Let the Bears trade with Seattle, Detroit takes a one year flyer on Geno Smith, and drafts Will Anderson right in front of the Bears............
Then who would be crying?
If the Bears trade with Seattle, they would still pick in front of the Lions

I am seeing now that they have reshuffled the Rams and Seahawks, what happened, SOS adjustments?
Doesn't matter, the premise of this thread was the Lions (via the Rams) held the #3 pick. Any and all of my comments are based on that.

But the Rams and Seahawks play each other twice yet.

LMAO. You are so clueless. If the Bears and Rams are both at 3 wins, and the Lions let the Bears beat them on Jan 1, that would mean the Bears would then have 4 wins. If the Bears have 4 wins, and the Rams have three wins, who picks first, Sphagetti brain? So yes, the Lions purposely losing that game most assuredly would have an effect on that pick

Not totally considering the team currently behind them at #3 is the Seahawks, who need a QB.

IMO, the best package the Bears would get if only trading down one spot is a 3rd and a 2024 1st. Expecting anything more than that is just destined for disappointment.

And they actually have the biggest hole to fill also, namely a decent quarterback let alone a franchise one.
if the Lions really want to go QB, AND Have to surrender 2 1sts, they probably call Houston in the hopes of acquiring Bryce Young or stay at 3 and select Revis or Stroud and keep their picks

The only way that happens is a bidding war so if they're planning on a bidding war I want to know who the other team(s) are and what they're offering.
Well of course. That goes without saying. Nobody is suggesting the Lions or any team would give up a ton of draft capital to move up if nobody else was bidding against them.

The Lions giving up 3 first rounders to move up one spot isn't gonna happen. They have as many holes to fill as we do, if not more.
They have two very talented receivers and are in need of their future quarterback. Adding Bryce Young or CJ Stroud and their receivers they would be set up well offensively for a long time.

They absolutely could be interested in jumping on that option. And regardless of how many holes a team has to fill, they cannot afford to pass on an opportunity to get their future quarterback. It’s hard to be in a position to get the right guy at quarterback and you have to take that opportunity.

I’m not suggesting this particular package is anything close to a sure thing. I am saying that Detroit would absolutely be in the market for a quarterback regardless of how many other holes they have.
