Bringing up a 25 y/o / almost 26 y/o not going to hurt his developement. He going to be what he is. A LH that has to have command

I'm sure they'll consider it but they also have a couple guys who have started in MLB before in Volstad and Lopez. If this season doesn't matter you definitely see what you have in Volstad again before you throw Rusin into the fire.

It also doesn't help that Rusin isn't on the 40-man roster. Volstad is.

Volstad is basically like Stewart to me. I cant stand him either lol

Lopez makes no sense cause he doesnt do anything

I can make argument since this year dont mean shit you do throw a 25 y/o into the fire to see if you get lucky

He 25 y/o and been ok in friendly hitting league. Again comes to a point where you just go young to see what you got. Not like 25 y/o is exactly screaming young. He will be 26 at years end. So why not

Did you look at that page before providing the link, D3? A 4.50 ERA in AAA (no matter the league) isn't what I'd call "OK". I understand his age... but I also don't care about his age. You don't bring him up until he proves he's ready. Especially when he's just 1 game separated from giving up 8 ER in 3.1 IP against Albuquerque, and has been quite bad in 3 of his last 5 starts. If he can show he's back on track in his scheduled start against OKC tomorrow... then maybe we can start logically considering bringing him up. But he has to be pretty close to lights out... with no control and command issues at all.

So you think that every propsect that is brought up dominates AAA? When your MLB team sucks this bad you bring up guys like Rusin instead of pitching shits like Wells

Scorer decisions almost never get changed once the game is complete. Unless they change it in the next couple of innings, it'll go down as a double. I do agree that it could end up changed. Damned good debut so far... which I think has to be one hell of a relief for him after last year's callup. Hopefully he'll be able to relax and adjust a bit better this year due to it.

No I don't, but I think it's pretty foolish to bring up a prospect you actually deem as a real potential part of the future before he's ready. I'd rather stink with Wells and throw him away when the time comes, than stink with Rusin and destroy his confidence... and interrupt his development. You definitely don't bring him up when he's showing signs of regressing, as he has over the past month.
