You've also invested a good amount of money into Volstad and should at least see how he does before deciding to non-tender or release him.

Everything i have read he a 5th SP or Lefty specialist. Again he almsot 26. Have to throw him in the fire sometime. Why not doing why the MLB team is Horrible!!! Again i repeat while the MLB team is horrible. Dont want to start seeing what guys can do when team can be competitive

yea that will prolly be the guy. I still think he will suck. Prolly cause he has sucked in MLB for last 3+ yrs. But thats just my opinion. What do i know. (only said Stewart would suck) lol

I have no faith in Volstad's ability to pitch with runners on. Maybe he can move to the pen, since he seems to avoid the big inning for the first time through the lineup. Just as long as he doesn't come in with runners on.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Maybe try him as a RP. Could turn into a Kameron Loe type of RP. Nothing special but serviceable

13 errors less than half way through the season at 3B. He is doing better on defense, but he would be crucified up here for his glove.

Stewart one of top 3B with errors. Valbuena showing why he not everday 3B DEF wise. Vitters offense has to make up for glove a bit i would have to imagine. Again il argue if team going to suck this bad let the kids learn at MLB level. Basically call it AAAA instead of AAA or MLB :smoke:
