Matty Ice was huge today. Bye Bye GB. Hope Ted Thompson does not sign any free agents again and banks on the draft.

Oh, totally. Did you hear him screaming at halftime; "we have absolutely NO pass rush". He was super pissed.

Indeed. That was a pass rush worthy of Vic Fangio (ba-dum-dum) . . .

McCarthy has to be livid at his D-coordinator. No answers for the Falcons coming out of the gate and no adjustments. What a terrible performance with the Super Bowl on the line . . .

In all fairness, their D was mediocre all year. They gave up lots of points this year and were hit hard by the good offensive teams. I thought the score would be very high today but I expected GB to score over 40 too.

Defense was abysmal all season and the missed FG and fumble in the redzone to start the game was all she wrote. They had to get off to a fast start to have any shot of keeping pace with that offense. Those missed chances put them down by 2+ scores and there was no chance this defense led by Capers and his predictable blitzes(opposing teams have 25+ yrs of tape to look back at) were gonna generate enough stops

Honestly can't believe they got this far considering the issues this roster has. Defense was trash all yr, their WR's are slow and drop a lot of passes(and were banged up in this game), and they have no run game. It was basically Rodgers having to play out of his mind each week to give them a shot.

GB desperately gotta get rid of CApers and they badly need some serious athletes/speed on both sides of the ball. Atlanta doesn't have a good defense but they got guys with speed and on that fast track it really showed in comparison to GB's slow roster

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Indiana Hoosiers
So... Once again... The question is, will the fudgies give the Falcons any credit or will they just make a bunch of ***** ass excuses about refs and being sick and shit?
Their mouth pieces Buck and Aikman have already exhausted just about every excuse for them.

Now it's time for the Packers finger pointing to begin. Capers will be the first scape goat

As a Packers fan, one can only HOPE he's livid with Capers. McCarthy isn't without blame here as he's been loyal to a fault with Capers for yrs despite this defense failing time and again in the playoffs. That's now the 3rd time in Rodgers postseason career he's had to watch his defense(under Dom Capers) allow 40+ points to an opponent. Got no chance at winning in those situations

Should be livid with his drafts and lack of activity in FA. They have wasted Rodgers years by not filling out that team more particularly on D.

I mean, Atlanta punted once I think....and could have easily put up 50+ if they didn't let up in that 4th. Talent on defense isn't great but yeah, I'd probably start with the DC.

draft/develop is how you sustain success but with Rodgers now turning 33....Thompson really needs to be more aggressive in FA to fill a hole or 2 on this team. He's avoided FA like the plague but with like 5-6 yrs left in this Rodgers window, you gotta attack it aggressively. Pats been doing that during Brady's twilight yrs. Revis was a big difference maker in their SB run in 2014
