Agreed. Ted Thompson is always talked about as a genius GM, when in fact he had Favre and Rodgers for 25 years.
He rarely, if ever, has a better than average D or running game. Then the Joe Bucks of the world praise GB for having so many homegrown guys on the team, as if that is the goal.
They have homegrown guys because they don't use FA to help their team.

It's not luck if you have a GM who know's what he's doing. Opportunities always come along. Do you take it or let it pass by and stay married to your current QB. Bears could have had Rodgers but preferred Grossman. Yeah, they were that dumb.

Yup. Rodgers is more physically gifted but Brady is more of a team leader. He gets the best out of his players like Jordan did.

Dis. Packers are so arrogant with their roster management. It's fucking bizarre. Even stingy Belichick snaps up higher priced guys in FA and trades for vets that are good fits for the team.

I thought the Pats would waltz into the Superbowl. ATL was a toss up with the Pack. But, I didnt see the Pack beaten them after last week. I think the Pats take it in the superbowl. Matty Ice isnt Brady. Two weeks for Belli is a lifetime to plan and Brady kryptonite is home thinking how he should be the highest paid QB.
