Broderick Jones would have been my pick.

His floor was lower than Wright, admittedly, but he was not so terrible that he would be a terrible RT.

Chris Morgan would have a lump of coal in either situation. Wright could be a very good RT with limitations if he had to fill in as a LT. Jones would start lower but would have a much higher ceiling.

Good points
here's my deal.....Overall, I wanna see the coaches take that next step. I wanna see better player development moving forward.

Did MJY say he thought Braxton wouldn’t be able to fix his anchor and if he could it would take 2 years minimum? Pretty sure I bookmarked the thread.

Seems like this professional thinks he isn’t good in pass pro which is also counter to your PFF stats you endlessly cite.

Also curious about your thoughts on Poles using the #10 pick to pass on Jalen Carter and draft boron’s replacement.

MJY just claimed he has excellent technique. This guy is saying his big problem is technique so no MJY doesnt know what he is talking about. It is not a lack of sturdiness. It is an issue of bad technique so MJY is wrong.

This professional says he is not sure it is correctable. That isnt really something he knows as some guys can correct technique and some cant and he has no real knowledge as to which bucket Jones is in. He can critque technique from afar watching film but cant really assess Jones ability to be coached and improve his technique.

I already said I was fine with Wright as again I dont endlessly cunt when Poles does things I did not. For all the claims of my having a God complex I accept there is more than one way to build a team. It is you guys with God complexes that cunt for months if Poles doesnt sign or draft the guys you want as if what you want is the only option.

Eagles might be the 90s Buffalo bills going to the Super Bowl every year only to lose. They are so much better than everyone else in the nfc it’s ridiculous.

Why should I have hope as a fan? Am I really supposed to believe autistic donut clown knows more than the best GM in the NFL? Why can’t the Bears just do the obvious? Just take the damn talent.
Yeah but the eagles have… won a superbowl in the last decade?

What do the Bears do if Braxton is injured?

Please answer. Don't ignore.

They are at the beginning of year 2 of a full teardown and rebuild. You are seriously crying because they do not have starter level depth at probably the second hardest position in the NFL to lockdown? Get a grip on reality.

Todd McShay calling out Philly and Detroit specifically for their great drafts. Great take McShay.

Poles passing up on Carter will end up much the same as Ryan Pace's decision in choosing Trubisky over Mahomes. The fact that it was the Eagles who wanted Carter should have given Poles his first clue that he was messing up. Now they end up with both Smith and Carter, on that team. Ridiculous.
Only if Wright busts like Trubisky did.

Howie is literally throwing his hands up laughing like fucking Costner in that dumb movie. He can’t believe Carter fell to him.

But ownership probably told Poles no Carter cuz of the car stuff

I speak remyese and believe it or not this what him starting to break bad on Ryan Poles looks like. He's slowly divorcing remyworld from Ryan Poles and disowning this clown decision making.

Only a fluent speaker can pick up on this, you guys will have to trust me.

Jalen Carter didn't fall to him, the pick was gifted to him by the Bears. Anyone else could've offered literally something and beaten his offer.

Carter was wayyy too big of a risk for the bears. I'm fine with Darnell, would have liked broderick more. I'm willing to bet Carter being in another car incident within the next two years.

The run on pass rushers is well underway and the Bears aren't on the clock for another twenty picks. What a nightmare.

If this is true I’d quit if I was Poles to save face. This ownership and it’s fake “I’m just a fan” but always making these stupid decisions has to end. At least own up to it. I let ole George thought and if I didn’t know who he was I’d have thought he was there for make a wish.

Wright is a risk with a much lower ceiling

I tend to agree with you only because I was over the moon about tommie harris and he pretty much only gave us 2 good years. I am not saying that anyone should compare Harris and Carter, just that I don’t believe in our ever getting a long-term DT ever again

I have disagreed with a few of Poles decisions and have said so. I did not like the Brisker or VJJ picks. I didnt think we needed to sign Edmunds. I would have traded down. However at the end of the day I will judge Poles on whether those decisions work not cunt about it before any games are played or one season.

A good general manger just makes the pick and dares ownership to do something about it. The Bears only care about public image, and they might be mad that he defied them but they won't actually do anything. And if they do then ownership is staking accountability, something they have been desperate to avoid over the years which is why they hire useful idiot fall guys like Phil Emery, Ryan Pace and now Ryan Poles.
