He's a #4 pick overall, he had some traits, people thought he was Ricky Williams.

Trent Richardson was a top ten pick, unreal balance and could squat 700 lbs.
The reason my sig-line was “draft anyone but Benson” is because I knew the Bears had shite scouting and would repeat the Rahsaan Salaaam mistake of drafting based on pure stats. Both Salaam and Ced ran behind mega-dominant OLs and they would often get to the 2nd or 3rd D levels without getting touched.

Whoever it might be, a RB who can withstand contact (unlike Swift) and show some ability to gain yards after contact (unlike Roshon) is a very big need for this team.

If the Bears sign a top free agent OG and if the O linemen available when they draft are not worthy of the pick, a RB may be the best addition to take some of the pressure off Caleb. With the top 4 picks, (a first, two seconds and a third), three should be O and D line and one a RB. But don't reach at any position if the quality isn't there.

cam skootybooty would look the same as roschon on this team

Guy isnt working miracles without an OL. He looked like dogshit vs. texas until his OL starting making holes

Some of yall dont know saquan ran for 3.9ypc behind the giants OL and jumped nearly 2 YPC running behind the eagles.

I live in AZ and I saw every one of Skattebo's snaps at ASU. Cam is a special case, he does not fit the normal methodology for evaluating potential running backs for the NFL. My gut tells me Cam will go before the end of the fourth round. He is not a first or second round talent. As a RB, he will have to make his money between the tackles, he is not a mudder by any stretch, but he ain't gonna find the edge very often. His game is using contact to his advantage. if you hit Cam you better get him down, because he has to be wrapped up tight to hit the turf. His small space footwork is a real strong point for him. We all love the 40 yard dash times, but the 10 yard split is far more important, he should do well in that area if he is at the combine. He will get tough yards over and over again and come back for more. I think there are a few NFL teams that would like his style of running. Not knowing who the new Bears coach is, means it is impossible to judge whether or not he is a fit for the bears.
So, he isn’t a mudder and he isn’t getting to the edge often…yeah, sounds like a bears draft pick lol

We do have RB issues though.

No, we have ol issues.

Unless you are putting a HOF rb behind this ol they aint having success.

Swift is more than good enough. If you want another RB sign a cheap one in FA(Jaylen Warren), no reason to use a top 72 pick on a fucking running back when there are a ton of other holes on this team. 5th rounder? sure, but all those 4 picks in the top 72 should go towards the trenches.

Bears fans will legit never learn.

The running back class in 2026 in FA and the draft is also superior to this year.

Swift will also be cut in 2026. Thats the year to draft a rb in the top 3 rounds if you want one.

add a Some in front of your last sentence. Then 100!

Good thing football stupid Bears "fans" aren't paid to make the GM's decisions. I'll let Poles escape the noose or hang himself with this draft. Personally, after looking at all his moves to this point in tearing down the shitshow he came into and rebuilding an actual NFL team I believe he has played the cards he's been dealt so far quite well. If he doesn't go heavy and hard on both lines in this year's offseason then everything he's done to this point makes no logical sense and he will earn his firing after the draft. At which point, I nominate you, MS, to go sweep Ginny off her feet and have her change the trust to make you the sole benificiary and cut the McLosers out of this 2 decade long nightmare.

The only top level running back in the history of the NFL who didn't need a hole was Barry Sanders, everybody else has needed some help from the line. Walter made do with some pretty crappy lines before the Bears put a real line together.

Gale Sayers was a blazing star on awful teams.

Just get a halveway decent oline and you can get an udfa rb that will be comparable to a lot of drafted dudes. But that would require Poles to actually invest in the oline. Every other team in the league can find a decent to good inexpensive RB but not Poles.

I would say he did more than “make do.”

He has exceptional feet and balance and quickness.
He should be ok, I don't think he's a lock to be great.

Start to think about it in the third round, certainly a temptation after that, imo.

Running backs are hard to figure sometimes. Benson and Trent Richardson had all the traits you look for. Trent had strength and balance even more than Skatebro...but burst and vision?

He is kinda small to think he will overpower people in NFL, but a DAWG he is and I think he is a ten year piece of an offense.
Ten year?

So he'll still be killing it in the NFL at 33?

Give me a break

I'd love Skattebo in the 3rd after the Bears have drafted a tackle, a guard, and an edge.

There are like 8 RB's id rather have over him.

No thanks

He's a 5th round talent who's going in the 3rd because of a bowl game

Its kinda funny cause daniel thinks jeanty is gonna suck but thinks cam is amazing.

No fuckface. I didn't say Jeanty was going to suck, I said it would be fucking stupid to take him with a Top-10 pick.
