The reason my sig-line was “draft anyone but Benson” is because I knew the Bears had shite scouting and would repeat the Rahsaan Salaaam mistake of drafting based on pure stats. Both Salaam and Ced ran behind mega-dominant OLs and they would often get to the 2nd or 3rd D levels without getting touched.
You're a West Coast guy right? What do you think of Josh Conerly? If he declares for the draft I want the Bears to take him with their first pick.

Kaleb Johnson! Johnson was Iowas offense. Every DC under the college football sun knew Johnson was going to get ball. No DC had to respect Iowas passing game at all.

Johnson got his production all season in an tough conference against loaded boxes, all game, every single game

That's my guy.

Don’t think he falls to the 3rd/4th and wouldn’t want to draft him earlier than that. Good back though…reminds me a bit of forte

I really like Devin Neal out of KS in the 3rd or 4th. Not a fan of Skattabo. I don’t think his traits will translate to NFL defensive fronts like they did in the Big-12.

I like Kaleb Johnson, also. But I think my guy Devin Neal’s play-style resembles Forte more than Johnson’s.

Not familiar with Devin Neal. Kaleb is a taller back and has a fluid/smooth running style that reminds me a bit of forte. Very good patience/vision as well

Neal may have the best vision in the class, imo. He is so patient at letting the blocks develop and his angles are insane while setting up even more blocks at the 2nd level.

He or Johnson would be great picks.
