Back to NHL talk.
Why is it in be a pro they pay you like a utility player when you dominate the NHL?
Im on my 6th season (no I didnt play all seasons not even 40 games except for the first 2 but only simmed the 3rd period to get unlocks) I figured out you can play every 6th game and avoid getting the your lazy messages from the coach. so I play the first 10 games, then every 6th and Ive still been leading the league in points and goals (it really helps when you get your rating higher, you get much better stats when simming).
So before I got my contract offer from the hawks, the agent is like everyone loves you, you are in high demand, I've won the rocket richard, and art ross 3 out of the last 5 seasons and am rated 87 overall, whats the highest contract offer from the 4 teams involved? 1.9 million per. WTF!
I did 3 seasons in phoenix after draft, 1 in edmonton, 1 in Boston, this year I finally got a contract offer from the hawks (whom I elminated in the stanley cup finals the previous year when I was on Boston, although my player was injured throughout the entire SCF and I didnt get to play any games).
I know the salary doesnt really fucking matter its not like im really getting paid, but come on, Id like to know what the salary is based on, I used to think it was your rating, but that cant be true, as an 87 player in be a gm commands much more than 1.9 per. It "should" be based on your stats.
I also wish there was an option to set a "preferred team" for your agent to increase the odds of getting a contract from that club when you are a FA. I know you can just reload and get a different array of suitors but its random, you could get a team every time or never.
