They were saying the Hawks were trying to move up for Reichel, and had to sweat through about 4 picks from what Mark Kelly was saying.

It appears that for one day a year, Bowman is not your target. The story below says pretty much the same thing I saw on a Facebook video. I don't know much about these kids but the video I saw showed Kelley at work. Whether you like his picks or not, I will say that he puts a lot into his work.

I saw reports today but the Blackhawks were trying to trade up to number nine, 10, or 11 to likely go after the goalie. But nobody was interested in trading down. Everything that I have read about Reichel revolves around his ability to be one step ahead of the game. He has an innate ability to be in the right spot at the right time and to know where to go with the puck. You can always look at measurable’s like height and speed, but that innate ability is what scouts get paid the find. We will see you in a few years if the Blackhawks were right
they weren't...it was a stupid pick while the capitals, preds, and Rangers set up bright futures.

Kings and Leafs to round out your big winners. The Rangers might have just won a cup with that night...not that they had to work for it. Gifts from the heavens.

I did not realize you were in the Blackhawk draft room

And there's your goalie.

Good kid, but probably three years away from the NHL at best.

Nowhere near the level of Askarov

That's the right time-line, we have too much dead cap space until 2024 to be competitive so I like the long-term thinking and investment.

Had a #2 overall pick in Kakko last year to. Rangers are going to be a force

Here is one article I was referencing, but Raskolnikov was in the actual draft room. My bad.
Nobody even understands what you are talking about or how my comments on 5 other teams relate to the blackhawks draft room and one stupid pick in the first round, followed by a stupid ass reach in the second because they couldn't pull off what they wanted in the first.

I was one of the last defenders of this regime but I've said my last positive thing after the last 20 hours, I'm done. These guys are mentally damaged and arrogant, there is no plan or sense. Imbeciles.

You can tell these guys are on the hot seat. They acted like they had desperate need at 2LW and G, and it shows. Problems just compounding on them now...its over and its over for these guys.

We will look back at this draft and scratch our heads.

Not locking down Lehner from day 1 now leads to a desperation I haven't seen since Harry Potter needed a date for the Tri Wizard Tournament Ball.

I would have preferred they just mortgaged the farm for Askarov. Instead, we don't get Lehner, we don't get Askarov, we don't get nothing from a draft 50 deep.

They couldn't clear their minds and see the value in trading up to 40...the talent going at the beginning of the second round is amazing and they just sit there with two thirds and reach on an undersized long project goalie.

What in the actual **** are they doing? No principle. No balls. No conviction. Somehow they are befuddled by it all this year. I'm astonished and ticked off.

I don't like them. **** Mark Kelley. Whoever is responsible for this year is a fucking goon.

It will still be haunting us when these fools are gone too. This one might hurt for a decade. ****.

Didn't think he would be there.

This is a great pick.

I don't see Pettersson, when he fills out I see a playmaking prime Bertuzzi. His cross goal mouth move is identical. Saad? Maybe but with alot more mean. Tavares? No way. Tavares can flat out fly when he wants to and is a shooter first.

He needs weight. Not fast, but not slow. Cerebral. High hockey IQ.

And now the bad news.

He should be a second/third line player. His floor is high. But, there was top line potential still on the board.

The **** Schneider still there along with Zary? Zary/Dach would have been fun watching together. Schneider would have been Boqvist's Methot.

Still, there's alot of draft left with the Hawks having a 2 and a couple 3's. There's about six guys were the first round potential still out there. Hopefully Stan does his homework.

I agree and that we should have traded up in the second to get one.

Another South Bend alum reach in the third...just wow Stan. JC superstar.

Followed by a defender behind a log jam above his talent ceiling.

I think we got some moderate help in a couple years from the first round pick, that will be tarnished by the performance of 7 or 8 guys selected in the next 20 picks, in terms of swallowing this draft.

Praying for a sleeper or two down the stretch to erase long term nightmares.

This is reminding me of Chicago Bears 2007, except I'm not sure where the arrogance came from. Dach?

Our 4th round selectionk, Michael Krutil, brings me off the ledge.

I like him alot, and we will just have to see if he is injury prone or a young man growing into a big body experiencing some biomechanical setbacks.

I made a simple statement about an article, and you said I was wrong. So I assumed you had inside connections to back your certainty.

I am not . sure what you cannot comprehend
