Oh yeah? Interesting. Pretty confident there madam Cleo. How many games will he play? Let me know so I could tell poles.
I have no idea, I would think his average of around 5 a year over his last 2 seasons might be close

Realistically, I think he plays at least 13+. He’s had a full off season to rehab and his workload won’t be like it’s been in Cleveland

Unless Chubb is signed to a small one year contract, I can’t see it happening.

Chub. Is a waste......if teams thought he still had the it factor to become what he once was, they would have already si GG ned him.

I agree with that, question is, how long will you be getting that contribution before he gets hurt again, he can't contribute from the IR
This is why his contract needs to be a one year cheap deal but with incentives for him to reach to make more.

Again, his workload won’t be as heavy and he’s been rehabbing like a beast. Still only 29 years old and he’s a freak of nature. He played 17 games in 2022 and obviously in 23 he was out due to the knee injury which lingered into 24 and then had the foot.

By all accounts, those injuries have healed and he’s had time to fully rehab and get healthy. I think the chances he plays the majority of games here is pretty good.

It’s a one year contract probably filled with performance incentives. If he is washed he can be cut in camp. Literally no down side to this.

Isn't JK Dobbins a better target?

I prefer chubb. Dobbins has never even played 16 games or rushed for 1k yards. If you’re gonna go low risk/high reward, go Chubb. He played 16+ games 3/5 seasons before the knee injury, has a career 5+ YPC, and has 3 1200+ yard rushing seasons…and an additional 1k+ season

I’m also in the Chubb over Dobbins camp if I have to choose one. Dobbins rarely makes it out of training camp healthy and Chubb is a true difference maker if he can still play.

A healthy Chubb can literally carry the offense I mean it’s a long shot but it’s the best shot we have at this point without burning future draft capital.

Didn't Chubb have major season ending knee surgeries in both of his last two seasons? If he wants to play for a vet minimum type contract, sure why not but at this point he's the equivalent of a scratch off ticket at the gas station.

Would be a good signing. He’ll be two years removed from knee injury since he landed on IR with a broken foot last year. As long as the expectation is that he in the 10-15 touches a game range he can be useful.

I feel like a second year-ending leg injury isn't really good evidence that he's had another year to heal and thus a better chance to be healthy and productive.

Do you remember what the knee injury was? Everyone keeps repeating 2 years removed as if it wasn't an injury that would end most careers
