We desperately need to trade him. It is the difference between saving 3 and 12 million which is huge for us right now.

I would attach a 2023 pick to him to get rid of him.

He already torpedoed one trade and he is missing from OTAs after he was the 3rd QB. So who knows what is going on with him.

-You were desperate for a QB because you screwed up the 2nd overall pick

-You traded your first comp pick in a decade for him.

-No one else was interested.

-You guaranteed him 21 million dollars.

-He sucked.

-He then torpedoed a trade that would have at least reduced the cap hit.

Disaster of a trade, disaster of a contract, disaster on the field.

It’s bad. The contract is hideous.

I am not piling on Pace, it is something we need to clean up with a trade… only he keeps blocking it.

Part of this is bad timing for Pace.

He was desperate to save his job in 2020, so he made a bunch of crazy and desperate moves and contracts.

He didn’t get fired.

Then he lands a franchise QB in 2021 and all of a sudden the cap space and draft picks have become even more important. The desperation moves now stink a little worse because they cost us Fields era resources.

It is a crazy turn of events.

The contract was worse that Jax gave him before we got him and we made it better when we had it restructured with the trade. I see what the thinking was when they traded for Foles and think it was worth the shot but of course it sucks now that it didn't work out for us.

I don't remember any rumors that Pace's job was on the line in 2020. I think you're doing your windy overreacting thing again with this one.
