Why not? He'd be a perfect fit next to Rose? The guy is a legit 20ppg scorer who can spread the floor and I doubt the 28th and 30th picks are worth much anyway.

Lebron would shut him down and then light him up for 30+ on the other end.

I don't think Danny Granger is worth Deng and Asik. I'll say I'd at least think about that one for a while but Deng is too good defensively.

doesn't solve your problems, and frankly, I think Deng is an all around better player at this point...

The Bulls would still need a SG if they made that trade. And they would be a lot less of a defensive team and lose rebounding. Granger isn't even that great of a scorer... Deng is not far behind him.

What about offering Carlos Boozer to Portland for Brandon Roy? I know Roy is a huge injury red flag, but at this point Boozer is no guarantee either. I read that the Blazers front-office has been pressuring Roy to retire to get out from under his contract, that's how bad they want to rid of him.

Trailblazers signed Wesley Matthews to a long-term contract and need to open up PT for him. They could use another big man in case Oden never recovers, and put Aldridge at Center.

Blazers new lineup:

LaMarcus Aldridge
Carlos Boozer
Nicolas Batum
Wesley Matthews
Andre Miller

Bulls new lineup:

Joakim Noah
Taj Gibson
Luol Deng
Brandon Roy
Derrick Rose

That is an interesting idea. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3clxe6m Theres a trade that may work, however it's likely they would want Watson, so here is an alternate trade. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3pv9gsu

If it wasn't for those 2 micro-fracture surgeries on both his knees, I'd say absolutely yes to this despite Roy's terrible contract.

If it wasn't for those 2 microfracture surgeries Roy might still be scoring 20+ and be untouchable.

An interesting idea. Idk if Miller would want to play behind Rose though. That said, he'd be an amazing backup PG. We could play them together and run Rose at the 2 at times. That'd be an interesting look.

You are not beating the Heat with Brandon Roy and his knees that have a 2 year expiration date on them...not happening.
