It could work out greatly. I feel that people are saying it wouldn't work because of their feelings about the players.

Like I said there is a serious undertone to the venom being spewed at the players that I'm not even going to speak on. But them starting their own league isn't beyond the realm of possibility. People think the players are stupid and that is far from the case.

The players are not business men. Certainly not business owners. The owners have all the risk. If the owners can, they can just dig in and rebuild the NBA with college players. You'll see players crossing the line.

You're talking to someone who worked at Chicago Stadium & The United Center and has been to more Blackhawk games than everyone on this board combined, most likely.

I've talked to numerous hockey fans and many, if not an overwhelming majority have expressed this exact sentiment. So it isn't me who's ignorant, look at the fans.

I know of what I speak.

I heard from too many people that don't like the NBA simply because of the majority of black athletes. People say the NBA and the N doesn't stand for National. But yeah, deny it though if it makes you feel better.

Look at the current situation. People are spewing venom towards the players when they are not at fault. There wasn't this level of vitriol aimed at the NHL when it was in a lockout, or the NFL recently. Most of the anger I see is towards the players like they are the greedy ones, when it is the owners who are at fault.

I highly doubt there many people that watch the NHL just because it's mostly white. But I guarantee alot of them would lose interest and stop watching if it was mostly black. They would still like hockey as a sport, but not the NHL.

The NHL is 50 years late in integrating.
This is the only brother I know that watches the NHL.
