After the whole LeBron, Bosh, and Wade fiasco this summer can we please put this to rest until it is official... I mean we all want this to happen but until I hear Melo say he wants to be in Chicago with this team long term I won't believe a word I hear else wise.

September is typically the dullest month of the NBA offseason. Not much happens. Thats why on PSD people start stupid threads like "Granger vs Carmelo Anthony"...

if we get this trade for Melo and can re-sign him it would be the biggest steal! Luol is just average, Taj is good but we have BOOZER, James will bust imo, and the picks wont be as good as Melo.

lol...Good good. There use to be some sort of offseason game we played on PSD that was kind of fun..but at the moment I cant remember what it was...And whatever it was theyre not doing it this year.

considering the Nuggets pretty have to trade Melo our deal is pretty good.

If it was Deng, Gibson, picks for Melo..then that would be a major steal. We would get to keep our defensive anchor in the middle in Noah and would have a killer lineup..but still weak at SG, but probably wouldnt matter.

That was one of the games..Thats done typically early in the offseason though. We could try that game here sometime..though I would recommend it when traffic picks up (So during the season).
It was something else done in August or September last year. I dont really remember what it was. Sorry I'm not helping really.

Obviously getting someone of Melo's stature would be great, but I can not help thinking that the balance of the team we have now would go further than if we had Melo IMO. He would want to dominate the ball alot therefore Boozer would get less touches, D-Rose would also.

I think that will be better, but I don't think that helps the Nets much, if at all. They don't have good players around him like the Bulls do, but they do have a pretty good young core that you don't know how they will produce.
