O.T. Sanders sabotaged himself in meetings.

It's reported that on at least 2 separate occasions, Sanders was given a play package to assimilate before a meeting and was completely unprepared for questions at same. Dabol didn't like that and Shedeur didn't care for being called on it. Dabol liked that even less. Entitled narcissist syndrome. Thanks dad!

Just multiple accounts of people in Boulder who have had run ins with him, his father, his entourage. One of my best friends is a professor up there. It’s crazy.

The fact that there are so many people trying to make this a race issue is crazy to me.

The NFL has a long history of not wanting to give African American players a chance at QB and for years would always suggest they should play another position. Even Lamar Jackson had to wait until nearly the end of the 1st round to be selected despite having an amazing college career.

Its not that crazy. With that said, Shedeur is a dickhead and not nearly as good as he thinks. He still deserved to be picked earlier based on who was taken before him, but either way hopefully he and his family learned some valuable lessons.

I'd look at Daboll not as a talent evaluator, but as a talent developer. Josh Allen might agree.

Perhaps Daboll couldn't see Shedeur as someone that could be developed.

Blacks QBs are picked high, and really picked throughout the draft, every year now. #1 last year, #1 this year, #2 last year, #8 last year. Not sure why one black QB falling, especially with all the other unique circumstances there, is evidence of something when all this other evidence isn't.

Even Bomani Jones didn’t play the race card on this one. Shadeur made his own bed, let him lay in it. When he fails to succeed in the NFL, the race talk will prove to be an epic failure with him

Che is a well know icon for resistance and rebellion, thus I used his smiling meme as opposed to a "viva la revolucion!" type funny gif. Don't worry I could certainly find actual African martyrs and icons if my goal was to focus on "fighting" racism on a message board.

You sure are trying to die on the Shedur Sanders is a victim of systemic racism hill. Is there any proof, other than what happened over at least two decades ago that back up your belief?

The last I checked the number one overall picks for the last three years have been for black quarterbacks. Six of the ten number one overall picks at Quarterback were African American. That trope has been dead since 2011. Too bad if you don't want to believe it but Shadur Sanders dropped because he didn't interview well, wasn't prepared for the interview and teams didn't want to trust their franchise to someone that came off to potential GMs and coaches and immature and self centered.

A lot of people blame Deon but I call BS on that as well. Deon Sanders may be a big mouth and a self promoter but he was always prepared to do his job and was smart both on and off the field. Pomposity is no big deal in this game, there are plenty of players that are full of themselves. But coaches, even Coach Prime himself, don't care for a lack of preparedness. I call this a good lesson for Shadur, if he chooses learn it. He has talent but the NFL is littered with talented players that didn't want to work. It is also filled with players that put in extra effort and succeeded where they probably should have failed.
