I **** up all your assholes freight before it makes it to the store. So while you're bitching at xero over your damaged Nikes, I'm the one shoving my forks through the boxes.
When I was in college I worked at UPS as a box sorter on a carousel. We were unionized and would throw boxes around like crazy. But the superviosrs couldnt do much and never fire us. I always thought that was a fucked up system

Later I became a pigeon breeder

I don't work at a place like UPS or FedEx. We deal more with large shipments, not as much home delivery. For instance, we ship Nike, Walgreens, Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, Meijer, etc., but not directly to the store. We ship it to their warehouse. We also deal with all kinds of bullshit freight. Honestly, I can **** up freight all I want and no one really gives a rats ass unless it's poison or haz-mat.

All I do is drive around a forklift all day not believing they pay me as well as they do to do this cake ass job. Only thing that sucks is working in the winter, but working in retail was 10x more stressful and I got paid less than half of what I make now.

I'm a Video Production Specialist at a medical university.
I'm also a filmmaker on the side.

One pays the bills, the other one creates them.

Internet Marketing and E-Commerce Consulting.

I sell stuff to people online through Facebook Ads. I have various channels of "stuff" to sell them from gimmicky t-shirts to high end branded clothing. Also sell some sterling silver necklaces that bring a pretty commission. I have spent a lot of money on Facebook's advertising portal and the amount of information they have on you is SCARY. If you have a pit bull, like the Chicago Bears, are between 30-50, live in Orlando, FL, and listen to Taylor Swift.....I can target you with w/e product I want.

At the most basic level I buy traffic that I send to a landing page/store (shopify) where I sell various products. 50% of what I do is on platform based companies (teespring, etc.) where if I sell a shirt for $24.99, I make a commission of $13-14 but, I don't have to hold inventory, ship anything out, receive payments from customers, handle customer service, etc. I just upload the design/product and handle the marketing. That allows us to do it with various products on multiple websites. Then we have a couple stores/brands where we have fulfillment & drop shipping in place to allow for a much higher profit margin. This is where the real good money is at.

We got into this industry during the gold rush period and have set ourselves up for long term success. I got into it when I was 23 and started making good money. Enough that my brother walked away from a regional director level position with an oil company to become my partner. We have several ventures now, the most recent being e-commerce consulting. We have an established "presence" in our circle of folks and we've started to show others how to do what we do. Definitely an interesting line of work.

Before you make a "lol you sell gimmicky shirts online" comment, google "Teespring/Shopify success stories". You will see the amount of money in this industry. The good thing is, anybody can jump into it and start.

Are you and your bro making 6 figures+ each?

Don't really like to delve into earnings but yes. E-Commerce (specifically Shopify) is huge.

Also, Rush. There's a way you can still not touch inventory or worrying about shipping and make about 5X margin than you are now if you're using Teespring. Just saying.

That was the primary source of income about 2 years ago but now we have 8 revenue streams with only 1 of them being teespring. I am aware of the higher margins with stuff like Teelaunch, etc. we mostly keep that stream (TS) due to the relationships we've made with them and we have some backend incentives that the normal person jumping on doesn't have.

Hope you're crushing Facebook Ads too. It's like shooting fish in a barrel :)

Not really what I was talking about. Teespring doesn't hold any inventory either. They might not even do their own printing (I know for a fact that they don't do all of it).

And yeah, FB targeting is ridiculous.

I'm always open to hear about a potential option. Hit me up, I'd be interested to hear a little more.

They still pass some off to various printers but they opened a huge facility in Hebron, Kentucky to handle their own fulfillment, idk what % they're sending there but I know it's not 100% or close yet.
