Stalberg to Nashville? ROTFL! Awesome so he won't finish against us!

There goes the team speed. He will be their top scoring winger.

According to Capgeek we still have 5.8 million plus change in cap space. Still need to sign Kruger. Leaves room for another vet forward and/or goalie.

Gotta give Stan credit. Looking at some of these crazy $$ flying around today EVERY move he's made has been Cap Friendly. Including Bickell who know doubt would have gotten 5 plus from several teams.

It's utterly amazing what teams spend on 3rd and 4th line players during free agent frenzy. It's absurd.

Today has been pure comedy. Then again the owners/teams know the Cap is going up from here on out.

Man Alfredsson would have been nice to have in the Indianhead..............................................................

Only 3.5 mil?

5.5 million idiot...and that is way too much for Alfi for one year. Wouldn't want him in an Indian head for that price even for a year. Not sure if I would want him at 3.5 either for a year. Guys not going to be productive this season..his game is down big time.

Ask me its a really bad signing by Detroit. Lucky they got Weise for what they got him for. That was a good signing. Alfredson? Not so much. And I am an Alfi fan too.

God knows the Hawks need a 5.5 million dollar RWer also. FACE PALM!!!!

So, are we siiting pat - looks like it - and going with Pirri as 2nd line Center and Smith/Morin to replace Stalberg/Frolik on the 3rd/4th lines?

I wouldn't mind seeing us add some depth/ grit with Cleary or Morrow, as long as the price is right.

The 2 million bonus counts against the Cap? Why not just call it 5.5 million then instead of 3.5 + 2? Are the bonuses taxed different or something?

What's the reason behind that though? 3.5 + 2 bonus.

Why not just call it 5.5 for the year?

Funny I had a conversation at one of the games he'd be back.

No problem if he's here at low $$ for some insurance with Raanta. Emery is no better than Khabi.

Only losing a 3rd liner (Stalberg) and 2 fourth liners (Bolland and Frolik)...I are tr hawks maybe signing someone in a few week for the PK/4th line role and letting a few Rockford guys battle for a regular spot

I actually think Khabby is an upgrade over Ray in a backup role
