I liked Khabi. As long as it's on the cheap as a back up I'm more than okay with it.

Why didn't we sign Cam Barker instead of Rozsival?

I was joking, just like I hope you were joking about Barker over Rozsival.

Hawks only have about 2.5 million to sign Kruger and keep space for any moves that may be needed.

Bickell-Toews-Kane

Sharp-Pirri-Hossa

Saad-Kruger-Shaw

Smith-Handzus-Bollig/Morin/Carcillo/Hayes

One of the 4th line wingers goes to Rockford.

Man we kept a lot more of the cup team than I thought we would, excellent. Next off season we need to pony up for two big contracts, Hammer is going to cost us a lot of dough and so will Crawford. I'm guessing we will probably re-sign both of them before the season ends probably ballpark $5mil/yr for each. So exciting going into a season expecting to win back to back cups and that expectation being pretty reasonable! Dynasty bitches!

I'd wager you're wrong on the majority of this, but what do I know?

I was pretty close on a lot of it, hit the money on the head for Bickel and Roszival, was gladly wrong about the Hawks spending it on them though. Right on Emory, right on Bolland, right on Handzus, mostly right on Stahlberg, right on Mayers. I feel pretty good about my shit wild ass guesses. The stuff I was wrong about worked out for the best for our team. I'm not the GM for a reason though.

Try and building some trade value, then dump him on Uncle Dale in Fla.

Then Stan can say "you wanted him...now you got him!"

A kid who scored 50 goals in junior hockey is someone not to throw away.

What about a near point per game defenseman with 300+ PIM and +24 in juniors?

Gilbert Brule still wants to play too... and is looking for an NHL club....

Just read that Jamal Mayers isn't ready to hang up his skates yet. I wonder if they resign him on the cheap at some point, he finds another team willing to sign him or he goes unsigned and eventually retires.
