We have $7.8 mil to sign 6 players, we are going to be losing players.--- Unless they trade Bolland and open up 4 more.

Bickell is gone I think, he will be fetching probably over $4 mil/year and I don't think we can afford that. Detroit Sucks is a prime candidate for Bickell, god I hope he doesn't go that route if he leaves. I would love to see him stay I just don't think we can afford to pay him what he is worth much less what he is going to be offered.

I think he stays. 3.5 mil per maybe...?

Mayers is going to retire I think.--- Gone for sure..

Roszival will be gone. He proved his worth when a lot of people thought Chicago was going out on a limb with him. This off season has a big time shortage of quality D-Men, really only a couple of big time defensemen are going to be available which is going to greatly increase the demand for and cost of Roszival. He's going to get a couple million a year I think, hell we pay Brookbank $1.3...

May just retire, or may take less to stay and try for another Cup?

I think Handzus stays, he makes Hossa happy and he's a solid center which always brings value. He has very limited time left and he knows Chicago is his best bet at another cup, plus did I mention Hossa is his buddy?

ACL problem not sure if he stays or goes at this problem. Old, has Cup now.

Emory is already gone, just hasn't been anounced yet. Sorry to see too, but he's got very limited time left and Crawford is going to be the starter for a long time to come. A 17-1 record will be well sought after by a few teams.

Can't keep up with the rigors of a full season either way, is a back up goalie where ever he goes. Hip replacement does that I suppose.

Stahlberg is probably going to be too expensive.

Gone no matter what the money is. He disappeared and Q obviously has a problem with his attitude.

Kruger is probably gone, he will be worth more than we can afford too.

Doubt they let him go. Part of the best PK in the league, still very young. Hell he played in Rockford during the lockout.

Moving Bolland would probably free up the money we need for either Kruger and Stahlberg or Bickell.

Agreed, but Stalberg is gone either way. Not even in their plans. You have Pirri (led AHL in pts last yar), Morin and a couple other that deserve a shot.

The good news is we are keeping a lot of players, the bad news is we are going to lose a few key guys. It's hard to see anyone go, everyone was so critical to our success this season.

As above our depth or Youth will need a shot sooner or later.

PS

The Hawks are going to have to make room for Crawford's contract to more than double after next season.

I cringe at the moves coming our way.

I don't cringe at all as 75% or more of the active Roster will be back not only next year but probably the year after. The Cap is going to up next year without question. The NHL's popularity is at an all time high, even with the lockout. Crazy! 70 mil would not be out of the question next year IMO.

The SC Hangover will be what has me thinking about next year. 48 games in 98 days. Another 23 games in 36 days after.

only 75 days until 13-14 Camp opens and a Summer with the Stanley Cup.
