Physical CB that excells in press and off zone which is perfect for Cover 2 which is the new D

Flus'sD actually doesn't play a ton of cover two. They'll come out in a shell look and the rotate out of it.

I see this alot on hear people expecting more lovie ball(not saying you specifically) . That's not this defense.

Can't complain about the pick too much. Out of OL, WR, and CB, our three top needs, CB was the best value on the board. Actually am encouraged Poles didn't chase.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now depending on how the kid works out.

But yes, this seems like BPA. I just would have preferred to have helped fields out more....but maybe they still have plans in FA.

Well no one plays Cover 2 majority of time. That is why I said press and off zone.

Kyler Gordon
Washington · CB
The ultra-fluid athlete from Washington is a natural at the position, boasting A-plus athleticism and skills. Although he needs to refine his technique, Gordon should compete for playing time as a starter early in his career.

He's a good pick. I honestly didn't think he'd be available. Thought he'd be picked before McCreary.

I give him the benefit if the doubt also for now as it dies seem BPA. But now we have to get OL and WR with the next 2 picks today.

I'd like Kyler Gordon here if he didn't have some major character issues. Some teams removed Gordon from their draft board. Gordon will be a good player and fill a big need for the Bears if he stays focused on football, but it's unclear if that'll happen.
Should be a good environment here. Good thing he's not going to Detroit. Amiright? JK

I legitimately think this year's team will go down as one of the worst Bears teams in the last 25 years. They might not win a game.
well they might not go winless but they will definitely be bottom 5 in scoring. This organization will never learn.
