Can't complain about the pick too much. Out of OL, WR, and CB, our three top needs, CB was the best value on the board. Actually am encouraged Poles didn't chase.
The ghost of Ryan Pace is very upset with you.

I had Gordon, looking like Snoop Doggie Dogg in Gin&Juice, in my mock where I tried to animate what’s happen if we had to go D after a WR run.

He should be a solid starter. Love this pick.
My favorite snoop song.

I legitimately think this year's team will go down as one of the worst Bears teams in the last 25 years. They might not win a game.
They were going to do that before this pick. Question is will fields survive the year behind poles poverty creation of an oline.

From CBS:

34. Packers: Christian Watson, WR, North Dakota St.

Grade: C+

Aced the pre-draft process. Tall, fast, bendy. Raw routes, not a major YAC threat. Will need to be utilized correctly out of the gate to accentuate his talents. Freaky speed and explosiveness. Very useful in the jet sweep/end-around game. Big-time upside. Costly trade but, finally, a receiver for Green Bay.

39. Bears: Kyler Gordon, CB, Washington

Grade: B+

Feels right for him. Bendy, unique athlete with explosive flashes. Not crazy speed or ball skills. Awesome, hard-nosed run defender. Chicago simply needs to add talent all across its roster. They get that at a premium position with Gordon.

For what it is worth, this was my write up when I did it:

39.) Kyler Gordon CB Washington – We get the dude that will start across from JJ for the next decade. We get our Vasher. He has the ability to move from the boundary into the slot to allow for Flus to play his D that way he wants to. We would have liked to have gotten a WR, but we got a player that may even be a better value.

There weren’t any WRs on the board worth taking at 39. Credit to Poles for not reaching and getting good value with the pick.

Wouldnt go that far. Moore would have been fine there.
