Love everything I heard from todays minicamp, except for Velus being back on punts.

I want that man no where near punt return duty. Dude has butterfingers.
If I remember correctly, the two punts Velus muffed last season came off the foot of a left footed punter. The ball comes off differently on a left vs right. The Bears then signed a left footed punter this offseason for training camp. They will give Velus every opportunity to improve his catching abilities this camp because he is a very good open field runner.

Eh, it's a practice in June. Iron sharpens iron and all that jazz.
I hear ya' man, and you're right. But I've heard that too many times before and not seen it improve to dismiss it entirely.

He might still be holding the ball too long on occasion but he showing progress in throwing the ball into tight windows.

Chase has only been in the league for 2 years, is young and already a star. Diggs didn’t really become relevant until year 4.

Moving goalposts. The topic is his wanting more money now. That is based on his level of play now not when he was a rookie or 2nd year player. Right now Diggs is a comparable WR to Chase.

No, it's not just you, he cries all the time. @dabears70 is the dumbest person I've ever interacted with on the internet. His next step will be to call you an alt as he's unable to comprehend that he's the problem.

idk about that. If @dabears70 can explain what a coaching tree is he is at worst the 2nd dumbest poster on this board.

All those players now have one less practice to prove themselves!! Do you not realize how many of them would have made the 53 if they had that one extra practice??
Sounds like I'm wrong but sure thought there was a step down to 70 or
Not certain why people assume mooney is on the way out. Prior to him getting hurt Poles and Getsy liked to talk him up a bunch.

If he comes back and is decent, he's very good friends with Fields and you could get him for a relatively cheap price. He makes a lot more sense to bring back than Claypool since he fits Fields downfield playstyle more.

He and Kmet always seemed like locks for a second contract on offense prior to the mooney injury.
Correct.

I think VJJ stays only because of where he was drafted lasted year. Think the Bears take a chance on him over someone like Pettis or St Brown. Either way, between the 3, none of them will be big contributors. But maybe VJJ actually pulls his head out of his ass
I gotta disagree with this because last year Jones was a contributor in the return game and as a gadget player. His 852 total yards were actually 4th on the Bears last season.

DJ Moore is a great receiver but is also an excellent human being and a true professional.

Diggs is a great player but does a team so close to the top need this nonsense right now? He started acting out against the Bengals in the playoffs last year. It hasn’t stopped. I’m not sure what his beef revolves around but it’s a bad look.

He plays with a great playmaking QB and the Bills have a rabid, loyal fan base. What’s the issue?
Diggs is a diva, plain and simple, too many good WR's fit the same mold, can't stand their BS.

Moore knows if he plays well he's got another giant deal on his horizon.

Diggs is pouting because he's going on the wrong side of 30 soon and thirsting for cash.
He just signed a new big deal last year so it must be something else.

Lions really could have made some big long term improvements in the draft. Instead they targeted non-premium positions and ignored their biggest weakness.
I laughed when I saw their 2 first round picks and now the media hints make it look even worse.
